These are meant for extremely cold weather - these will steam your hands unless you plan to use them only for Leh-Ladakh trips. Not practical for daily use.
I have a REGULAR non-biking glove with thinsulate lining, and I can use them only for a month in a year.

yup i am using it.. i love the quality of the product, and very strong armor very good jacket and that i realized recently after an accident where the jacket absorbed the impact to my sholder and did not even have a scratch or tear.got it for $110 similar as u described in red.

more intrestinly - honda sent diwali gift a specail order jacket of Blizzard with removable winter liner and elbow, sholder and back protector its much lighet than my fieldsheer and the armour does not feel as solid either but its free so and its is a good quality thing.

the glove looks quite nice , one question do you plan to use this in very cold area since they have thinsulate they might become very hot in normal india conditions.

also where are u getting it ?

I have regular gloves (R15 accessory) that I can use daily or in Summer. Need something that can withstand rain. Yes, saw the Thinsulate lining part. Used fabric gloves made of thinsulate in the UK but that was just okay in stopping cold at around 10 degree centigrade. May be because of only fabric. Adding a leather lining to thinsulate can possibly insulate the body from cold pretty well. Am I right?

I've read reviews of this gloves in the US. Most of them said it is good quality gloves but stops cold only to an extent. So, even if I go to Ladakh this might not be enough.

But I am trying to think - would it be very hot for riding in our winter or in rain?

getting them at bikebandit.com. Someone coming from the US. Gloves won't occupy much space and hence trying to order them.

Couple of my friends have bought DSG one.

If possible, I want removable linen for cold resistance and water proofing. And obviously adequate protection.

I have a red P150/ UG3. and DSG riding gloves.. 850 bucks.. and my helmet is vega boolean graphics . hope that help in choosing the colour.. though I think, it would be red only.

Have already visited DSG and Cramster sites. kindly suggest a good one with model number as well..
              Any replies to my query..

I got from fox racing Medium dirtpaw gloves and fits nicely.
If you have any doubts with regards to an international brand, head to newenough.com. They have a section under most products\brands stating how they fit compared to other brands. Very helpful with purchasing products online.

If it is for an indian brand I would suggest you try it out at the shop!

Ha,, thanks man...the generous friend was a girl. No wonder.
Initially the fit was a little tight. Now after some riding for a day, it has become very comfortable. I'm loving it.

                        • I have a query for xbhpians:

I am getting my Black 220 very soon and its utmost important that i get proper riding gear with the bike. Have a full face Studds helmet but wont use it on a new bike as its scratched.

Ok so i have spared myself a good 5k to get a nice good helmet and gloves with knuckle protection and all from a reputed manufacturer.
I need your help regarding which helmet to go for :
                          1. The visor should be tinted, its mandatory. Silver tints look good but think they will be expensive. Black chalega!!
                          2. Should look stylish
                          3. Full face helmets only.

Will i get these 3 things in a helmet upto 3k? If yes which brand?

For gloves i spared 2k but if i get anythin good for less than that i wont mind at all. Will use that money for fuel.

P.S: Am a student and this is my hard earned pocket money so cant extend the budged. Please enlighten me on my choices and what i can extract max out of my money.
A DELHI xbhpian gave me this address of a shop:

+1 to that! Its raining Cross on xBhp these days. furioussphinx got himself a really sweet Cross lid&someone else has also posted about a similar one within 3K a page or two back. Other option would be the Vega 2.5K lid-you can get it with a tinted visor too.
If you are planning on using riding gear in city, I would suggest a mesh jacket with protectors&for gloves maybe mesh/semi-gauntlet/city riding gloves like ProBiker/DSG Moto Mesh etc.all brands gloves within Rs.1500.
Cramster has released an upgraded model of their MX3 gloves, which are city usage+can handle day trips too. Cost Rs.1100+50 shipping charges.
I personally have a Cramster mesh jacket but don't find using it comfy in city.
