what i need is better ventalation and better looks .....i found brezeer very good in looks..
While purchasing jacket, you have to consider some of the following things:
      1. How often do you intend to wear. All the time?
      2. The local climate
      3. Your budget
      4. Use for race tracks

There are jackets available today in India to meet all these requirement, provided you can/willing to pay.

To answer briefly on the following above points.
      1. You will need an all weather jacket. Simple. Such jackets are available. This jacket would be characterized as being Mesh+Removable air/water proof lining. Mine is such a jacket. If linings are not removable, then it will not serve its purpose well. If you intend to use it once in a while while like going on a tour, then you don't have to be very picky.
      2. Hot most of the time? Then, you cannot compromize on mesh. To understand how non-mesh will feel. Just put on wind-proof ordinary jacket or windcheater, zip it up, and get stuck in heavy traffic on a hot day. You'll most likely find yourself prefering to not wearing a jacket in such condition.
Note: Some non-mesh jacket provides some form of ventilaion in the jacket for breathing. It won't help in hot traffic. The difference when it come to mesh is, the entire jacket is ventilated so it performs much better than non-mesh with ventilators.
Cold most of the time? Leather or corda with air/water froof lining.
      3. More money, more choice .
      4. Preferably a one piece leather riding suit.

Don't know if either Cramster or DSG have jackets as mention in point 1.

        • A mesh jacket with a removable winter liner is all one needs unless riding to the Himalayas. Waterproof jackets, most of the times, its taken in wrong sense. It does not mean the jacket will protect you from Rain. So while buying, keep that in mind.

Absolutely right, You need a seperate rain jacket and pants in case you want to ride in heavy rains. There is no way you will get a mesh jacket which is 100% rain proof.

+1. Though the confusion regarding water proof thing is mis-interpreting
"Water resistant" & "Water proof" unless manufacturers/sellers want to mislead the customers. It is very easy to make out whether linings are 'water resistant' or 'water proof'. The former lining will be made of material similar to windcheaters while the latter will have some sort of rubberlike thin coat + all stitches are sealed with some sort of ....err thing .
