  • Hey since it's a waterproof it seems to be a great deal.
even it looks good as well.
but from where do you plan to get it.
Keep your bike in good repair: motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.

          • Riding Jacket

            Hi Buddies,

I am interested to buy a good Riding Jacket for myself with approved armours but my budget is low ie around 2-3K.

Can anybody let me know please where will i get a good riding jacket within my budget???

Also if anybody here interested to sell their old but decent stuff as they have upgraded to a diff one can let me know please. I scanned the whole Buy/sell section but cudnt find any within my budget, all are mostly new and overpriced I feel.

Anyways, waiting for your suggestions. Please advice.

            thanks

I first had a pair from 'Cramster' but they felt like I was riding with boxing gloves on!! Totally lacked feel. Now have a pair of 'Alpinestars' ( a present - so I don't know the model ) but I still think they lack adequate sensory feedback. Does anyone have any suggestions about a model/pair that are light enough for good grip and feel but still serve the purpose?

I'm seriously tempted to ride without them but I read somewhere that a rider's first point of contact in the event of a shunt is his hands and I'd feel pretty dumb if my hands took a beating when I'm other-wise well protected with my other gear.

None of the gloves do provide the kind of feed-back we wish we could have, even i was going through the same problem,
putting in more miles, albeit slowly shall help you cope with this problem in a better way, i was in the same boat as you and even today, if the road conditions go bad, i face problems to provide the kind of throttle input i wish to provide my motorcycle with and sometimes the blip and downshift(during bad road traversing) goes in for a toss
^there should be a model name/no etched in your gloves for identification

All leather gloves rob you of some sensory feedback. If you can comprise on the leather part, check out those like the Probiker one in this link. This was my first gloves.

Am using Cramster 'Bionic' knee guard. No issues except for the hazzard of metal rivets rubbing against the tank (if you have the habit of hugging your tank). I have overcome this problem by pasting rubber over the rivets.

Though I feel the knee part is very big while the bottom part (where it touches the shin) is quiet narrow and seems not proportional vis-a-vis the knee. Anyway I'm not big person so is comfortable for me.
