may be the other way round...it must be the price of the jacket alone...Originally posted by Garry_Menace View Post
Did you mistakenly typed the cost of knee guards only?
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Hi guys,
Im entirely new to riding gears. Have only been using a helmet till now. But experience has taught me that its woefully inadequate, even just for city riding.
Right now, I have a list of requirements and I want your help to know if it is practical.
Im planning on a jacket and gloves for the time being.
Requirements for jacket are:
Waterproof, low speeds (only city riding), comfortable enough not to crumple my formals under it, everyday use and a bit lower on price.
Live in western Mumbai suburbs. And looking at the rains this year, I definitely want to go for a water-proof jacket (i realise that i will have to sacrifice ventilation for it).
As for the gloves:
It should cover the wrist, water-resistant is ok.
are the requirements practical?
If so, whats the cheapest (decent quality) products i can get?I like 'em Naked
Blah Blah Blah!
Reason is not automatic. Those who choose not to recognise it, can't be conquered by it.

Guys i am in a big dilemma
I want to buy a nice riding jacket of 5.5K max. budget. My options are Cramster breezer and Dsg maze/neon.
I reside in kerala, here its mixed climate though more rain.So i want a riding jacket compromising with these climatic conditions.
In the website of cramster breezer it is written as its idle for south Indian climatic condition.
Can u please suggest one?also suggest some good gloves within 2.5K range
Thank u

Rs.650 for guards ! 150 bucks for gloves (my advice would be better go for textile/leather riding gloves because these gloves dont provide protection)Originally posted by manubhat View Posthow much did they cost you??
J.C Road ... Helmet Paradise stocks these guards although the shopkeeper quotes high... around Rs.950 for the same FOX guards.is this available in bangalore...
whereas if you go straight from the MTR and after that take a right turn ... there is a mosque and opposite to mosque there is a small shop .. he stocks AXO knee/elbow guards which are available for Rs.1200 but if you can bargain then he will settle for 1k for the guards (AXO)
ive got from that shop for 1k.

Breezer is a purely summer jacket with a external waterproof overcoatOriginally posted by vishnups17 View PostGuys i am in a big dilemma

Maze is not water proof, only water repellent and good for light showers, but it's great in winter and pretty good in summer without the thermal lining
Nero is totally waterproof, so good for the rains and winter, but would be pretty uncomfortable in summer
Hope that helps
