I got my Cross gloves for some 1k, my AXO Elbow + Knee Guards for some 1k too, so totally costed me 2k aprox, should cost the same to you.

Yes, I got the jacket from A H and it costed me 4k.

It is not a original Alpinestar, its a chinese remake. That is the reason for the Fox armor.

Was thinking of visiting AH helmets during the sale period...need to buy my first riding gears. How much would a descent pair of gloves,knee,elbow guards cost me? Any suggestions for a newbie rider?

That's the reason have a fox armor.
That is what I would recommend for someone who does not like DSG or Cramster or Scoyco.
