Didn't cross check. May be the rubber-clip and the visor hole might be a culprit.Originally posted by tibby View PostHaving been personally using the S07, I think the visor vents are the reason for this. Wither you had them open (
), or there was a tiny gap between the rubber clip & the visor hole.

Quite a bit. We usually order about 10000 a month last time I checked.Originally posted by killer_instinct View PostThats neat... Possibly in the next major G2G we can distribute these along with the Tshirts. How many do we have to order to get that price?

Guys, just got my driving license renewed and now badly need to go for some rides. Last month got a LS2 chrono and now planning for some riding gears.
Have been riding for quite a few years now, but, never felt a need for gears (always wore a helmet, though); however, following xbhp for sometime, I am quite convinced on using some basic armors. My confusion- I'm not sure what I require what I don't.
Need suggestions/help on picking up the following (may be):
1. Riding jacket
2. Golves
3. Knee guards
I've been through the planet DSG and Cramster websites but not able to make up my mind-
DSG Phoenix, Maze or Nero?
Cramster MX3 or DSG revive?
Are gloves comfortable enough- Once I used some local stuff and couldn't handle the bike well, forget about 'extra' safety!
Knee-gaurds- do I really need those- I don't go touring hundreds of kms nor do I do tracks? I'm really not sure on the knee-gaurds!
Am planning to pick the stuff this weekend, can someone help me out? Better if somebody could join me
Cheers!

@kunnu: dude, you can check out this website [http://www.bachoomotors.com]. I bought my second jacket from there...it's a good stuff, with necessary protection & very much breathable & with a inner layer for rains/winter...Zulfi, the owner, is a jolly guy...he might help you out...

One of the riders in our group spilled his bike on the road and the only place he got hurt was on his knee, a deep gash. Luckily, I had my first aid kit handy.Originally posted by kunnu@cbz View PostKnee-gaurds- do I really need those- I don't go touring hundreds of kms nor do I do tracks? A must. If not in the city, then for short rides outside the city.

Good to see you investing in riding gear. Reviews of all the products you have listed are present in this thread. My recommendation would be
1. DSG Nero
2. Cramster TRG2 or DSG Revive (depending on your requirements / fit of the gloves. Once you start using a good pair of gloves you will wonder how you rode all these years without them! )
3. Cramster knee guards (OT - Sorry Aditya
!)

Bluevolt, got your point; would pick it up, as you mentioned- for short rides outside the city.Originally posted by bluevolt View PostOne of the riders in our group spilled his bike on the road and the only place he got hurt was on his knee, a deep gash. Luckily, I had my first aid kit handy.

OT (please excuse me)- BTW, have been following you, Nikhil, Aditya an others' trips/posts for sometime, wanted to join you guys long back but couldn't as my DL had expired- I hope you guys don't mind me joining you guys!
Thanks for the list Neil- It helps!Originally posted by neil.jericho View PostHi Kunnu,

Yes, I've been through several pages of reviews and doing so more now. Wanted some quick suggestions as am unable to make up my mind coz its my first time buy.
Ramesh, I've checked the websites listed by you, thats what adds to the confusion! Thanks for the helping hand, though!Originally posted by rameshmadhavan View Postbachoomotors.com, adventureontherocks.com, performanceracingstore.com, cramster.in, planetdsg.com
Apart from the above, now, I'm somehow inclined towards the RJays Swift jackets sold at Bachoo, so asking again- How are they compared to DSGs- say Nero?

Answers to your queries are inline below.
You definitely need them knee guards cos you never know when luck can run out. Better safe than sorry huhOriginally posted by kunnu@cbz View PostNeed suggestions/help on picking up the following (may be):
1. Riding jacket - DSG. The Nero is very popular but check out the other variants too.
2. Gloves - DSG Revive or Carbon. Search for my review on the revive. Best VFM gloves. Revive costs only 1900 bucks but superb gloves for that price.
3. Knee guards - Alpinestars Bionic Knee Guards (5.2k INR) or go for pants with built in armor (RJays).
Knee-gaurds- do I really need those- I don't go touring hundreds of kms nor do I do tracks? I'm really not sure on the knee-gaurds!

I would advise you to stay away from Cramster owing to the string of quality issues i faced.
You can get most of the stuff at Orion motors. Have sent you a PM.

My suggestion is try it out and see for yourself. RJay's jackets are of good quality if not better than DSG. Someone who has an RJay's jacket can provide more information though.Originally posted by kunnu@cbz View PostApart from the above, now, I'm somehow inclined towards the RJays Swift jackets sold at Bachoo, so asking again- How are they compared to DSGs- say Nero?
P.S. The red n white R15 in your profile... have seen that bike plenty of times on hosur road.
