STRONGLY agreed; plus the riding pants will also serve as abrasive resistance in addition to knee guards. But a decent riding pant from JR costs as much as 7.5KOriginally posted by darkknight View Postram:for that cost you can get proper riding pants with built in armor & sliders too sometimesSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

As we discussed earlier, go for RJay's which is better VFM than the JR I've. In that case, you can even shell out some money to buy chest pads too. And do get the one with inner lining. If not for rains, it is very useful during Winter.Originally posted by whizzkid_ram View PostPlanning for Rjays jacket

They look good, congrats
How much did it cost you?
Hi, well in terms of price for what you are getting in comparison to the likes of cramsters and dsgs.... the armour and the stitch is of much better quality. I did check out a lot of options, including Joe rocket... but trust me JK17 just simply blew me over, a complete VFM and the seller is really honest and professional guy, a passionate biker like mentioned in this thread before. I guess i will end up ordering more stuff from this guy for sure.
Total damage 3850 +350 for shipping charges. i paid on sat and today it was delivered at my doorstep. So i guess in metros, the delivery shouldn't be a problem. He even assured me, if i find anything wrong, he shall take the jacket back and send me a new one. What more can i ask from Mr. Bhavishya then??

Are you trying to say Scoyco was much better than JR OR are you saying that for the money you're paying Scoyco impressed you better than JR?Originally posted by shv18 View Postthe armour and the stitch is of much better quality. Well, if its the first one, I certainly don't agree with you. I too have checked out JR & Scoyco & the quality, build & finishing of JR is way ahead than Scoyco; after all, you get only for what you pay.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Will it go well with JR's riding jacket or do you think the riding jacket & riding pant should be from the same manufacturer?Originally posted by rameshmadhavan View Postgo for RJay's H2O, ....thats really gud, am going for the same (2nd one)...Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

i think JR comes with a zip which you can zip it with the pants, not sure if 2 different brands can be zipped togetherOriginally posted by aargee View PostWill it go well with JR's riding jacket or do you think the riding jacket & riding pant should be from the same manufacturer?Never Give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.

Actually many brands now offer this feature in their jackets and the standard seems to be an 8 inch zipper. I have tried out several pants and jackets from different brands and they seem (so far ) to be compatible with each other.

incase of JR, well it is my personal opinion mate. i tried out JR phoenix 5.0 and found the jacket to be too heavy and also not comfortable at all and i did tried out the different sizes available.
But in this case i am making comparison mostly with Dsgs and Cramsters.
Scoyco suits me just fine and price is a plus. But foremost the attitude of the seller which is a welcome. I have never witnessed a person calling up the next day to check if i am happy with whatever i have purchased and he would love to hear my experience after using it for a month. So its not just the product but the whole experience that has come along with it. Mr. Bhavishya has full brownie points from my end.

I've Reactor 2.0 & I love it being heavy & personally I feel the riding jackets SHOULD be heavy. If its light, then a simple wind cheater is suffice!!!Originally posted by shv18 View Posti tried out...different sizes available.
I'm hearing this for the second time. Good friend of mine in xBhp told me the same.Originally posted by shv18 View PostScoyco suits me just fine and price is a plus
Is it? That's awesome, truly awesome. Atleast to experience this, one needs to make a purchaseOriginally posted by shv18 View PostBut foremost the attitude of the seller...has full brownie points from my end.
