Dainese riding pants and jacket have arrived. While the jacket is a perfect snug fit, the pants are slightly lose on the thighs. Waist and knee down is quite a good fit. Maybe I've to work on my thighs...lol!

Am waiting for HJC scratch helmet. Should be home by next week. Will post pics once the complete gear is with me.

Looks nice. How much did it cost? Is it completely waterproof? I guess the only way to find out is to wear it and stand under the shower for some time.

Its from Tourmaster Elite II one piece; ask BL, he would suggest a goretex material & this is no goretex. I wish I'd got this atleast 2 months ago to check out during the extreme Chennai rains!!! Sigh!!!

Anyway, with this, I'm awaiting for a rainy day at drop of a hat lol!!!

I feel shipping is reasonable for items of that weight. $80 for pants and $93 for Jacket. But its the import duty which is unpredictable. It can range anywhere between 500 to a couple of thousands. Haven't got a clear understanding of that yet

The best thing would be to get these through someone who is departing from the shores. But again, for these you cannot strike a deal like ebay. Believe it or not the $430 jacket posted on ebay costs $599 on some of the US Sites So in the end, it'll pay when you evaluate your options.

Great buy. Once you wear Dainese, you will never go back to any other brand. They make simply fabulous stuff - I've had mine for the last 4 years and it still feels brand new except for the gradual fade on the leather which actually looks vintage and cool. Make sure you get a Dr. Tork or Dainese leather care kit for your 2 piece.
