Dainese riding pants and jacket have arrived. While the jacket is a perfect snug fit, the pants are slightly lose on the thighs. Waist and knee down is quite a good fit. Maybe I've to work on my thighs...lol!

Its from Tourmaster Elite II one piece; ask BL, he would suggest a goretex material & this is no goretex. I wish I'd got this atleast 2 months ago to check out during the extreme Chennai rains!!! Sigh!!!Originally posted by n_aditya View PostLooks nice. How much did it cost? Is it completely waterproof? I guess the only way to find out is to wear it and stand under the shower for some time.

Anyway, with this, I'm awaiting for a rainy day at drop of a hat lol!!!

Riding pants - $270Originally posted by rameshmadhavan View PostHow much is the dianese riding pants and jackets....
Jacket - $430.
It forms a 2 piece suit. I don't intend to use pants all the time though.
ebay UK site. Cost mentioned above. I'll post pics as soon as I get my helmet and shoes. Will do it probably by early next week.Originally posted by Sunnyside_up! View PostCool! From where did you get it? And how much? Post some pics please!

Sweet! Please do let me know how much for shipping and customs if any. I've been eyeing a set of Dainese gear too, so any information will be helpful. Thanks!

I feel shipping is reasonable for items of that weight. $80 for pants and $93 for Jacket. But its the import duty which is unpredictable. It can range anywhere between 500 to a couple of thousands. Haven't got a clear understanding of that yetOriginally posted by Sunnyside_up! View PostSweet! Please do let me know how much for shipping and customs if any. The best thing would be to get these through someone who is departing from the shores. But again, for these you cannot strike a deal like ebay. Believe it or not the $430 jacket posted on ebay costs $599 on some of the US Sites
So in the end, it'll pay when you evaluate your options.

Good buy! Being rainproof is a good feeling, I tell you!Originally posted by aargee View PostFinally got my one piece rain gear
Great buy. Once you wear Dainese, you will never go back to any other brand. They make simply fabulous stuff - I've had mine for the last 4 years and it still feels brand new except for the gradual fade on the leather which actually looks vintage and cool. Make sure you get a Dr. Tork or Dainese leather care kit for your 2 piece.Originally posted by jvh View PostRiding pants - $270
