Make sure you get a Dr. Tork or Dainese leather care kit for your 2 piece.
All thanks to you Rahul for the tips

Agree on the quality and the fit. Its just unbelievable the way it snugs the body.

Yes, will be heading to Europe next month and planning to buy the kit from there. And ofcourse I read through your DIY stuff on cleaning the leather ;-)

I think the 'XL' or 'XXL' will fit depending on the brand - but I'm not sure about the waist.

I recommend that you try before you buy.

@Ruize - Just try out. I strongly suggest you to try out & then buy. Or follow the chart on the lower side. Though it will be a tight fit in the beginning, it will become comfortable in the long run. I don't know about Phoenix, if you look at all the pages here, ppl keep suggesting DSG Nero than anything. You may want to review this thread.

thank you sunny and aargee. I also thought of trying it and buying but for my choice of jacket i have to get it shipped all the way from Delhi. so a trial before the buy is not possible. But now the dealer had promised me to get it replaced incase if its not fit for me.

You can try it out at many dealership stores, some of these shops keep these jackets and sell them too. Ask someone from your place, you might know which shop sells riding jackets. And after deciding on size, you can buy it online

Why dont you check out AutoQueen, Cochin? Sabu has jackets from both DSG & Cramster. He will be more than happy to get you riding gear in your size if it isnt available. Will PM you his contact details. All tvm & cochin xbhpians buy stuff from him.

Next nearest city is Bangalore I guess.

Yes, most dealers DO promise & adhere to it. But when you get it, ensure that you don't pull out the tags or not even a single piece of sticker & most importantly wear it & ride so that you can be assured of the replacement.

                        • Gloves, Bionic protectors & Jacket test so far

                          Hi All,

i am also getting Scoyco MX-40 gloves and Scoyco bionic knee protectors. Will do some extensive tests and then will post my opinion here.

Now i feel like an Official SCOYCO PROMOTER/SUPPORTER on this thread!!

                          JK-17... the story so far...

Its been almost a week since i got me JK-17 jacket and so far i am loving it. Stitches are holding up, no threads coming out or zipper problems or anything. And i must admit, i am bit of a rough user... My initial concern was being black in colour, i thought it would definitely be a dirt magnet and will turn from black to brown in no time considering the truck loads of pollution & dust one witnesses in Mumbai on daily commuting from home to office and back. But to my surprise, that is not the case. The jacket still looks new and good. May be one more week of Mumbai's weather will give a new coat of colour on this jacket

A point to note though: in stop and go traffic where your speeds don't go above 20-30 kmph, one can feel the internal temperatures going up a bit but not to the extremes, which i guess is quite acceptable. Otherwise, if you are in speeds of 40+kmph, then wearing this jacket is quite a breeze. I guess when proper summer hits Mumbai, i would be able to give a better opinion about its usability on a daily basis.

I am using this jacket regularly and will try and push it to the limit by taking it to extreme weather conditions and then provide you guys my final score.

This thread simply is awesome and very informative.. hopefully my two pointers will add something to discuss.

                          Cheers

@ Neil.. Thnx mate .. But I have contacted sabu for Cramster and he said he has no stock of XXL size presently and he can arrange that only by next friday. Then i thought of going for SCOYCO which was my second option as am not much intrested in DSG...Now i have to get it shipped all the way from delhi from Mr.Bhavisya Devgun, Raw Adventures.
