          • @princesirohi- more expensive is not always better stuff man. when its riding gear, its a very small niche market as compared to other apparels. u get what u pay for doesnt apply here :P i feel most companies overprice their product...only the ones that invest in extensive RnD of a product like a* or joerocket can be considered appropriate pricing.

if u look closely adventureontherocks looks like a site that sells all the usual stuff are higher rates. again here fox raptors and axo knee guards at 1700-1800 Rs. doubts on authenticity of the stuff. id rather buy the same fake knee guards at 800Rs from any normal biking store.

i personally opt for scoyco purely on value for money.i dont care if its made in china or wherever,as long as the purpose is met with. scoyco has some pretty amazing reviews for ALL its products.i have tried the jk17 ,but cant comment much on it cause i have not tried jackets other than that. btw i am buying a jk17 from A.h helmets, mumbai ,the dealer said new stock of scoyco products is coming on 8th june.

i bought my LS2 recently...it is Espirit black...and i am loving it.... got it for 2700 in bangalore along with a cap..helmet bag and 2 yr warranty on free repair from the shop owner..
I just, went to adventure on the rocks store, the axo knee guards look like the ones he had mentioned in his web-site and are different from the axo web-site, when i asked him about it, he said that it is old stock and that is the reason why it looks that way and the new stock which will arrive after 7-10 days will look different. When i asked him to show me the packing in which he sells the knee guards (to check mfg date etc,..) he said there is no box type of packing and they come in a net kind of bag(that stuff indeed looked old).
My doubt is that the owner bought those stuff from clearance sale from other shops, so there is a very good possibility that they are fake and i'm not sure whether he is importing original/fake stuff from now on(Its a brand new shop).

I even checked the LS2 helmets (they looked authentic to me) and they are 3.5k-4k, i even tried another shop(helmet world) and he gave me the same price, can you tell me the shop name and location where you bought the ls2, my dad stays in bangalore and i can get it through him

yep...i got mine from "helmet paradise" opposite urvashi theater...

so the hunt for knee guard remains....but on thinking about it...it may be correct that it is old stock....but again...not too sure... ...its so irritating yaar...one cannot find a good original gear anywhere???!!!!

i'm looking to get a new pair of riding boots...
all four of these shoes offer adequate (non-track) protection and are comfortable while riding.

so one of the prerequisites for my final decision will be the one that's the most comfortable to use off the bike.

Guess the forma might be better cause the other three are almost the same at least look wise.
They offer better mobility than the AXO's but i had the problem that the top of the boot kept kinda biting my shin.
So maybe try them out too and see how they fit you.
                      Good luck.

Yes ! He has even had a fall..a very bad one for that matter but not a single injury...the boots did hold up there...

So they do provide adequate protection...

                              waterproofing not adequate...

comfortable..if you are comfortable in wearing gum-boots...
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Except for the Diablo all are Full Racing Boots right?None of them will be comfortable off the bike...actually even on the bike unless you have proper rear sets it wont be all that fun.
I use XPD's X-ONE which is a street boot but is slightly longer than a conventional street boot.and its just OK off the bike...i can walk slowly .If touring is your purpose i suggest a street boot like Diablo along with a shin guard.
