I had gone to buy the Joe Rocket, but since they didn't have any in stock... I ended up buying a pair of H2Os and an OctaneOriginally posted by saurabhjd View Post------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm still breaking them down, but overall, feels pretty good....have never used boots before, so with my weight, it's quite a struggle getting into them, but it's getting easier by the day... totally waterproof as claimed...Originally posted by lijok View PostHows the H2O? i bought a cramster breezer 4.0 last week, it looks good and feels good.Originally posted by ka600 View Postany review on cramster breezer 4.0?
the shoulder and elbow protectors are good but i personally feel the spine protectors are not upto the mark..the removable lining puts up a bit of hazzle every time i try to insert or remove from hand.

Orion motors are waste!!!
Hi Guys!!
Any clue on the DSG nero sizing??? i wear 39 size shirt ....if i order "S" will it not be tight with the thermal liner and if i order "M" will it not be loose without the liner???????
Had gone to orion motors to check on the jackets...but they are useless...they did not have even a single small sized DSG jackets.....since last 1 month they are telling the stock will come in two days...which never came till now!!!
Is DSG listening??? plssssss change your dealers!!!!! or atleast make sure your dealers are little customer oriented!!!
It takes more love to share the saddle than it does to share the bed :)

Jacket, Knee Guards & Gloves
Well i have been hanging around this place for quite a lot of time reading trip logs and refraining from all the G2G s due to the sole reason of not having proper riding gear. I was finally able to save around 10K solely meant for riding gear.
Jacket :
My requirement is ,like many others, a jacket suitable for brief city rides and long tours too most importantly should be water proof. The Thermal liner should be able to protect me from ladakh level temperatures and the jacket should be ventilated enough for rides through tamilnadu in peak summers.I should be able to carry it in a backpack, when i am not riding.
I had decided to go for the DSG ones with my eyes closed as it was the tried & tested brand for xBhp and moreover their main store is in pune. But after a lot of searching around on different threads , i havent come across anyone mentioning these are 100% waterproof.
The RJays octane, although a couple of grand out of my budget, seems to fits the bill perfectly at least based on reviews here and on other sites. The weight of the jacket seems to be on a higher side.Haven't checked it in person yet.
Another lightweight option is the RJays swift, within my budget but a compromise on the CE protection offered in octane.
I would like to hear some first hand opinions about the swift with regard to ventilation and waterproofing.Ideally, except for the protectors the swift should not be any different from the octane,at least from my perception. Is that right ?
I do not have the option of importing it from the states and with the limited options of Cramster,DSG & Rjays,i am in a confused state mind. Do not want to go wrong here as i do not have the luxury of changing jackets every 6 months. So really need your inputs guys.
Gloves:
Well again i am looking for waterproof ones, with protection for the wrist along with the palms and knuckles.
DSG primal seems to be a favorite for full gauntlet ones but have not found any mention of its waterproof abilties.Another option with DSG is their vector range and i would like to know what exactly is the difference between Vector & Primal ? Any first hand user experiences regarding the waterproof abilities would be of great help.
The Rjays range of gloves which are waterproof starts at 2,799 with the Tempest 2. Honestly have not found any mention of RJays gloves in the forum or anywhere else.
Guys ,i would appreciate on the options available within 2.5-3K.
Knee Pads :
I do not seem to find any genuine basket of options here as most of the ones i have come across are these fake Axo and Fox knee guards + elbow guards in the price range of anywhere between 800-2500.
The only other option is cramster bionic ones which are available for 1500.Apart from the rivet scratching the tank, which can be taken care of,i have not come across any other issues.
I have time till this Saturday and my budget is strictly 10k (1K can be adjusted). So everyone please pitch in your honest opinions and first hand experiences to help me out in choosing the right stuff. I ride an RTR 160 btw.
