I have no experience with any Scoyco products.Originally posted by ankurjain View PostHi Aditya, Thanks for update ... I don't see the A* on the site now But Fox and thor. Do you have any review on scoyco ? Are they bionic ?
A* products are available at Planet DSG. The only grouse i had with the A* knee guards is that the soft part of the velcro strap (that sticks to the rough one) wore out in a few months. The straps refused to stick after sometime and they used to come undone while riding.
I had to buy and stitch a strip of velcro over the existing one and it cost me only 50 bucks (cost of a velcro strip and stitching it at a bag repair shop).
Not a major issue but considering this is a premium brand i didn't expect such niggles. Nevertheless, i would still recommend the A* bionics. In fact i have placed an order for A* bionic SP vest (chest and Level 2 CE Certified back protector).
Thor and Fox are good brands too and are used abroad by some bikers. You can google for reviews if you want. Just wanted to let you know that these are as genuine as they come by (via PRS).
The cramster and AXO knee guards look strikingly similar except for the axo logo which is missing on the cramster guards, and of course the knee straps dont have any brand name on it. For sure, these are cheap fakes manufatured by the thousands in China and sold to uninformed buyers.

I just marked your post as QUOTE for saying the same thing and reading further I found that many people already had mentioned about the issue of rivets falling offOriginally posted by kinshuk.arya View Postchk out the knee guards in this link.....
That's why I am confused. Which one to go for
I've seen the AXO ones in the pics in travelogues of many people and I don't think they had/have any issues about rivets and anything. But, I don't know how to distinguish between both as both have the same design

help with safety gear!
Hi guyz,
I am planning to go on weekend rides with Xbhpians. I see that there are some safety measures people. follow.
I generally wear gloves, shoes, and a Regular thick jacket for my rides, I don't have the elbow/knee protection yet.
I wanted to know where to get affordable safety gear for biking esp. in Pune.
thanks in advance,
newguy1

DSG revive. Tried and tested. Wear it almost everyday for almost 6months nothing wrong till now. Or if you can expand your budget you can get a gauntlet one.Originally posted by Aniket_N View Postlooking for good riding gloves.budget - 2k.

cheers.I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.
