Go for DSG revive cost me only 1000/- in mumbai. Gloves are semi guantle, good ventilation and most of all good protection.Originally posted by AKAlOgAN View Postlookout for Cramster Twister, its good for dry weather. I dont think there are many dual purpose gloves for both dry/wet conditions.
I myself heard that the twister are quite nice to own and they fit your budjet.
Cheers.

no special care required.Originally posted by flame View PostI just wash them with the helmet liners and cheek pads. They come out sparkling clean. Been using them for over 2 years now...Originally posted by r1_in_my_blood View PostWell, Avoid washing them, just clean them with a damp cloth once in a while.
SP-X are overpriced I feel. If there is anyone coming from the US, buy sometime during the new year liquidation sales. Good prices for brands like Cortech etcOriginally posted by vishnus View Postso how's the SP-X going now.......?sasikiran_bs

Awesome broOriginally posted by vishnus View Postso how's the SP-X going now.......?
..I can't complain, they are warm, leather on the palm area is very very thin so I have to be a little gentle while taking them off. Perfect tight fit in a good way but not restrictive, and they have started to loosen a bit too. The pinky is not fully protected , apart from that very good protection over all with carbon fibre Knuckles and good finger palm and wrist protection. They are good for summers and for not so chilly winters and again I have to say they look awesome in red [ blue is coming soon too..it looks wowsome too ]
.
Are they worth the price [ I guess they ll be again 6k on dsg after the dec. sale ]? One might say NO considering the fact they are not full gauntlet gloves [they are 3/4 gauntlet] but they are alpinestars so I have to say YES but still a little overpriced
but you won't go wrong in choosing them [ Again I wld say +1 yr size for these ].

One more query..can we wear riding jackets for everyday city riding, when the city riding consist of 55 kms. I was looking for DSG maze for that instance but skeptical whether it can be it will be comfortable for every day ridingSanjay

Go with it eyes closed.. I have been using a DSG Maze for the last 2 years.
The Maze being a mesh jacket is the best for our hot and humid Indian climate. All day riding? No problem.

I was looking for DSG maze for that instance but skeptical whether it can be it will be comfortable for every day ridingI got my DSG Maze 2 years back and barring the initial 4 months (Till the time I got the Cramster Raptor [textile jacket]), I never used it for tours. The reason being, on long tours in summer heat, the only thing worse than a mesh jacket is riding without a jacket at all. Every other 'decent' textile jacket is better. Thats because due to the mesh material, it is useless in case you want to retain any body fluids and a 2 hour highway ride in the the summer afternoon sun will surely leave you properly dehydrated as the sweat drys out immediately, so you need more sweat to stay cool! Whereas you can go on and on and on with a textile jacket on since the sweat takes more time to dry out and helps you keep cooler. Strange, but true.Originally posted by payeng View PostGo with it eyes closed.. I have been using a DSG Maze for the last 2 years.

But for purely city riding, nothing beats the comfort of a mesh jacket. Take a pick according to requirement.
So, the reason I posted here, is to say that:
With DSG Maze, All day riding, BIG PROBLEM! City riding, Best option!!Last edited by antz.bin; 12-11-2011, 11:48 AM.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
