If your Uncle bought the original game then he must have registered it with the CD-Key already on Steam. What you can do is ask him for his Steam ID and password,since now the game must be registered under his account. Once you log in his account,you can install and update and play the game here in India.
Better still you can buy the Orange Box for 750/-. It has Half Life 2,Episode One and Two,Lost Coast and Portal.

I know but i already have an account in steam and when i entered the key it said duplicate key.and the game will not install plus same problem my friend who purchased box pack original CD from here itself for 999rs, he also has same issue duplicate serial key...

Hence if anyone has a keygen torret or a crack which will solve this will help a lot, i am die hard fan of Half life series

2- install it, and try the same serial key again.
3- if not working then you must have given your key to someone else who is using it.

I shall try the first two options, the thing is this issue is highest with this episode and i wanted to finish this last episode badly.

There is something abt Half-Life The entire RPG environment makes you feel so real and wanting to explore more.

yes u got the right info..NFS SHIFT is releasing shortly..u can consider it aas a sequel to PROSTREET..all track racing no free roams...

not really interested in this unless if gets some different features thios time..if its goin to be same as that of prostreet then its a waste

according to the Preview, the graphics are cool, new cars etc. etc. As they say every time when they launch a new NFS...

Was a die hard fan till the Prostreet came out... and since than i've lost my faith over them...

SHIFT is a blend of GRID and TOCA RACE DRIVER 3.

they went from "enough arcade,now its time for real racing".GRID and TOCA and RFACTOR offered that.

There is an arcade NFS too, since they said they were going to release three different NFS titles this year, but it's not Shift. The other versions were for WII and some other console. Shift is for PS3 XBOX 360 and PC. As far as the previews are concerned, the journos got paid well enough (apparently) to create the major hype, but it's failing to undo the damage PRO Street did. I tried the TOCA 3 and know what the simulation can be.

But since they have roped in the GT guys for this one, it might be a different story this year. Till then, it's just NFSU 2 drift map parkade 6 with custom tuned 350Z for me. That reminds me, has anybody tried the "glitches" in that game?
