Almost most reputed branded air filters are good, K&N, Simota are all really good stuff but I'd suggest not to mod until you really have a sense of what you're about to do, because apart from the money spent and mod done, the difference is barely noticeable apart from the signature roar and in the long run it doesn't do any good to the engine itself.

The difference is very slightly noticeable.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

As mentioned by the moderator in a post above yours, go for an AM filter only if you know what you are up against. Stick to stock.

But after I got the pulsar 200 ns, k&n 1060 with a bit of carb retuning(using the 3000 rpm principle) is worth it.
The reason is may be because the jet size is bigger, the engine is way more capable (23.5 bhp) or more importantly because its a liquid cooled bike. Liquid cooling is way more effective, than air cooling and hence helps maintain engine's efficiency.
The sub180 cc bikes after a k&n installation, end up with too much of air in the engine, for which a lot of hit and trial re jetting is required. And its seriously not worth, because even if you are getting an aggressive sound, its at the expense of the engine life.

And yes NS has a carb.
I have used ak&n RC1060 on my p180 and BA2201 as well on my P220 , with proper upjetting, botj for sure were quicker than stock, I used Apache RTR 180's 124 mainjet on both, the karizma 125 jet is actually smaller than P180's 117.5, Nevertheless I found K&N to be a useless investement till n less you are a tech savvy kinna guy. Here are my 0-100kmph timing on:
          P180UG4
          0-60 4.02sec
          0-100 11.68sec
          P220
          0-60 3.91 sec
          0-100 10sec sharp
I also retuned the carb by RPM method.

Hi, Saurabh, the fact is MOXI, BIMOTA, SIMOTA are all okay-ish type filters, personally UNI is a good filter, but that's for high spec tuning purposes. For our puny engines, stock filters works the best. It's hard to characterize what sort of quality or performance such filters mentioned by you would offer. But again these are all foam or gauze wire types we're talking about here. So I'd suggest UNI as a good choice, but will I suggest you to replace this on your motorcycle? My suggestion would be no.

                    Cheers!

There Is A Crack On My Scooty Air Filter Carburetor Hose(The One Which Connects The Air Filter To Carb.)
Can I Get The Hose Replaced Or Do I Need To Get A New Air Filter Box?
How Much Would It Cost ??

Yes as Aneesh, pointed out, replacing them is the right way to go, since the crack can widen overtime and it can get you stranded when you least expect it. It's hardly 45 to 50 bucks, get them replaced.

My experience with k & n air filter on my pulsar 150 was terrible.
I would suggest everyone to stick with the stock one.
You will only get roaring sound and little power increase but it will kill the engine.

The filter will not protect engine as good as the stock one.
Water will enter in the carb while washing.
Micro dust particle will enter into the engine while riding offroad.

Seriously I hated it after few days.
The only thing good was the roaring sound.

Most only realize this at a later stage. I don't at all recommend an after market filter that isn't designed specifically for the vehicle in question. The reason FFE and aftermarket AFs are used in racing is to gain that extra edge. Mind you these engines are all temporarily raced, stripped if need be, but most of the times racing engines are stripped down post race, so it's a wise idea to use it on such machines, as opposed to a vehicle that goes through everyday abuse, which in the long run can be detrimental.

                              Cheers!
