Sorry but that might take sometime bro as I am not in touch with the guy for quite a while now (time flying). I'll definitely give it a try, though. Meanwhile, you can surf for K&N RC 1060; this can be installed with a bit of jetting in Stunner

True, RC 1060 has been the universal K&N for most of the Indian Bikes ........ but then I guess it will require me to remove the AF Box to install it other than playing with the carb ........ I am more specifically looking for something that sits in the same place as the stock filter ......... because I am not a big fan of alteration in standard setup

You do not need to remove AF box for the installation but of course in case of 'non-fitting', it needs to be modified. Carb will remain intact (don't worry). Now, if you're looking for something that sits in the same place as the stock you should look for the box type in any brand. But if that is the case, you can replace it with a new stock filter - that will also not alter your standard setup. Now the question is what exactly do you seek? Aftermarket filters are performance parts & ensures a change in the overall experience without compromising much with the rest of the features. If you seek the change, go to your trusty mech. or reputed bike SVCs and enjoy. It's field job, so venture out & you'll not regret!!

PS - If there is no direct fitment, there will be a problem in reverting back to stock.

Red Green or Blue, K&N, GREEN or SIMOTA unless it's a direct fit or close don't go for it. Moreover most don't know this fact. Using a filter in a sub 150 cc bike is more or less useless not completely though. Except for the grunt and a very very slight noticeable improvement in performance which is almost as hard to notice when riding normally.

If one is planning to alter their filter box or using the filter as a stressed member inside any compartment that doesn't suit the filter you're using, then I wouldn't recommend anyone to do that. It's 100% waste of money, time and worse... ruining your bike's components.

Cheers!

Thank you sir for your valuable input.

I am also only looking for the one which has a direct fir in the AF Slot of my bike, and I must admit that I am not a huge fan of making a mod in my bike. Just that I have to replace the filter soon I have decided to poke the experts here to know if there is a direct replacement available for Stunner. I am neither expecting any huge improvement nor want a sudden increase in anything from my 125 cc baby Honda. I just only have a wish to experience the feel of an aftermarket AF if affordable.

For now, I'd suggest you stick with the stock viscous filter, which is more than enough for the best of both worlds. Considering your bike's CC, don't stress her, let her be happy and peppy.

An adequate figure which I maintain is 500 KMS strict! No matter what when trips are brought into the equation, else I always maintain a 500 to 700 KM strict filter cleaning interval. But mind you for a filter to get clogged so much so that the engine couldn't breathe must be a vehicle that is revived from junk.

Most modern engines are pretty efficient and do their best to breathe free, it's when they are clogged beyond their threshold they start giving trouble.

In my 4 years of ownership of my bike, the air filter choke was lit only once and it was gone the very next moment I cleaned the filter.

atuladeep, dry means not really paper they are cotton and felt of certain kind that are used to trap the dirt. Cars use paper filters and they are used primarily because they last long than conventional oil dipped foam.

For knowing more about filter elements you can read the any good automobile manual available.
In FZ manual dry filter element means paper element. You can check if you open FZ air filter you can find out pleated paper filer moulded in plastic.
Paper element are basically used in cars for there better filtration efficiency than foam elements.

Yes, FZ is indeed paper element. And don't forget paper filters are cheap too, as opposed to oiled foam.

K&N is fine.. Pipercross is also good, but as for R15, trust me it'll definitely improve your performance, but affect your mileage (atleast 4-7kmpl), and simultaneously affect your engine! So before installing anything, just think about it!
