Guys i've always liked the pulsars. after all it's the original desi performance bike. but going through the forums and listening about some "reliability" issues i got deviated. i intend to keep the bike for a long period(~5+ years).

donno much about the longevity of P220S, but I have seen my friends maintain their Pulsars (P150/P180) in perfect condition for 4 years (no problems, what so ever). That's what gave me enough confidence to put my money on P135LS. So, that brings me to the good old line you guessed it already!! "if you maintain the bike well, it will never disappoint you"

Such wait is akin to committing a foolish sin in india these days..
Dont wait.....as you yourself has ruled out quite a good option/s and in process making youself clear, you can always go for RTR180. Also you can go for P220. It is problematic but not enough to burn a hole in your pocket or in between your two ears.
P.S.- In India we do not have as many options beyond 150cc catagory you see. So the case is easy for you

Can some more p220s owners help me out with my mind vs. heart situation and convince me that the p220s is the best bike for me.

I dont want to make friends with the svc guys so i want to make sure that if i buy a p220 i wont have to be running up and down to the bajaj guys for this and that trouble.

Bro don't listen to the mind for this time. Go with your eyes closed where your heart leads you. I can feel the urge of your heart crying for P220S. Just Do It!!

Don't wait and don't hesitate. Go own your P220S now. You deserve it. Go Go Go!!

Can anyone tell me what is the wattage of the stock bulb of the p220s?
AFAIK p220s also has full dc electricals like the p220f.

So i can expect better illumination from p220s as compared to the p150/180

P.S.: i'm not comparing with the projector of p220f

oh damn...did you say 220 "S" i thought F...its 35 W but its fully DC...so it is ideally better than p150 or 180 as their electricals are AC
