Pulsar 220s or something else?? Please Help

    Yes I can confirm this.

    Two of my friends here running P150 UG4.5 & P180UG4. I own a P135LS.

    All of them are full DC.

    Recently Bajaj converted all bikes to full DC. Platina 100,125, Discover 100,150 and all pulsars are now full DC.

      @satan-- new ones are indeed all DC.

      I am a bit skeptical in advising or speaking in favor of Pulsars right now as I believe the 4 valve ones might be due as bajaj usually unfurls the new models in & around Diwali.

        Dont laugh...what the cop said was true.There has been many issues regarding the p220 clip on breaking.i guess some time back someone here had posted a link with a lot of complaints regarding the very same issue.

          thats why its better to wait till diwali.also these 4 valve ones will be silently released without any banners or ads.

          only a few 220's from a batch had this problem man....and that same pic is doing rounds in orkut and xbhp over and over again(the one with handlebar tied to a cloth)..if the 220 falls under that batch ,pbk are replacing teh nuts and bolts under warranty

            i really wish to Bajaj , well they make powerful bikes ..but they should concentrate on Quality also to stand long term usage.

                    If it comes out, it should be worth the wait, 4 valves have equally strong top-end, a thing which I lust after. I am a fan of peaky power-plants & on this regard Pulsar will be as rev happy as, say an Apache.

                      After getting a glimpse of street fighter edition,i was sure that this is it,this is the bike i want,so i visited bajaj showroom,and inquired about the street fighter edition,and as expected they didnt know that such 220 model exist,and then i explained that its just 220 without the front mask,then they came to know what i was talking about,they told me to book it,i want black color,they said thats not a problem,but here are my queries:

                      1.I'm worried about the tires,i want MRF Zapper,what if the model which i booked,comes which crappy one?

                      2.What is the fuel efficiency of this new pulsar 220s model,is there any noticeable increase in mileage?

                        It still comes with MRF Zapper C, as far as I know. If it comes with a different one, force the dealer to change it, and don't take delivery till its changed.

                        Mileage may increase due to 4kg losst in weight, but not much, expect 1-2kmpl to max.

                          of course the wait would be worth but only if it is launched. No company would release any such information which would do nothing but hamper the sales of units of its own current product line!! So nothing is sure you see....

                              if you go on highways a lot and need better lights then go for 220f.otherwise if you like the street look of 220s,then thats that..

                                The problem is that i have to wait for ~1month for getting P220s,and i can get P220F immediately,and another confusion is that i like the look of P220F but people say that its kinda bigger and may find it difficult to cut in jam.

                                What is the mileage of P220F,when driven nicely,and properly maintained???
                                people say it has mileage of 25-30kmpl,is that true????
