    Good.
it isn't necessary that which point bothers you must bother someone else as well, cuz i didn't see any point about which i should start bothering..

You got to say something about your chosen word "fighting"?
for sure we should discuss about different bikes but that doesn't mean we should start in any thread created by anyone seeking for help regarding buying a bike..while talking about "My bike is superior then yours" point, yeah on some points my bike will be superior on others n vice versa on other points, so that's an endless discussion which will lead into spoiling a thread nothing else.
You can't pinpoint a thread where you can or cannot discuss any Motorcycles which you so wisely said, can you?

And you are helping a TS by constantly replying to my questions which are in no way helping the TS? Big words, helping the TS, when you got nothing more to put forward to...

I am anyways out of this 'constructive' discussion which you are trying to indulge in.

there are threads existing to discuss about particular bikes..according to you, you should talk about any bike in any thread & start pointless discussion over it??

I never said it was a "constructive" discussion that's why i was ignoring all these

            Guys,

Sorry for the late response. I'm held up with the business meetings and I've been travelling to chennai & b'lore... Will be back home by december.. And will buy the bike as soon as I reach...

            @ Sambit

Dude, ppl here told me that my height ll not be an issue, as there are already many guys with my height are driving without any probs...

Friedns, will it be a good idea of including Avenger 220 to my list, fazer being faded out? Will Avenger 220 be a good chance (as a second option)??

@Shankar(a)Bala: You will be able to appreciate the characteristics of any machine if you get to spend a reasonable amount of time on it.

                By this, I mean..

to know its traffic handling. Ride without break in a stop-go heavy traffic for at least an hour. Shift, turn, squeeze into small spaces, brake, move-quickly, break again etc. and do them all over again for an hour. Its a hell of a difference than taking a couple on minutes run round the block.

In highway. Riding constantly at speed about 70-80. You will begin to see things that are not noticeable in short rides. And I'm am talking particularly about vibration. In city, Your speed constantly changes and hence vibration will hardly become an irritation. But when your hands are subjected to constant vibration for more than 20 mts. it will begin to take its toll. Of course tolerance level differs from individual to individual. Similarly, seating position also has similarly effect when you are in the same position for long duration.

As for pillion. I ride single 99.9% of the time. Once in a blue moon, my wife will sit as pillion. Just a couple of days, we went out together. My wife had to endure three hours as pillion (One and a half hour one way makes both ways 3 hours). One and a half hours without break. She was complaining her butt hurts . And I selected my bike taking in consideration my wife will sit now and then.

It may not be possible for you to run through such thorough testing on each bike. So you will have to make the best educated guess through inputs from others. How you sort out good information from junks are yours to make as you will find both. I did the same.

There are cases where people regret their choice. So our challenge is, I believe, not about making the best choice, but about not making the wrong choice. At the end of the day. Whatever you choose, will not be the best. It cannot be the best. You'll just learn how to love it despite its short comings.

Btw, My bike is Zma-R. The contenders then were Fz, Avenger, and Zma-R.

                All the best!
