  • R15 or CBR250R

    Hi guys,

I own one oulsar 200 as of now. i am riding it since last 3 years. I want to change my bike and I am looking for a sports bike...

I wantyed to go for R15 but just now heard of CBR250R coming, i have gone through the specs an I do like the bike, but my budget and the lack of sporty posture has made me think again.

Right now i am confused in these two options.. should i wait till next year or go for R15 now..

    pros for r15 i have
    -1 advance tech
    -yamaha tech
    -sports riding posture

    cons
    - small feel
    - bit overpriced in the lights of CBR250R
    - less power

    Pros for honda:
    -honda engine smoothness
    -big look feel
    -more power
-compititive pricing ( assuming 1.6 on road)

    Cons
    - Detuned engine
    - weight on bt higher side , so effective power to weight ration remains low. ( speculation on power 26hp)

Which of them will be a wise opition..
Only thing Gods envy of mortals is that they ride.

They are two different motorcycles in two different categories, CC wise, budget wise, riding wise.
There will be a clear difference of 50K+ in the pricing.
    70% difference in CC.
    60% difference in Bhp.
R15 is a true sports bike. The Honda is more of a Sports Tourer.

You have to see what you want.

Also one exists and other doesnt...

If I were you, I would hold on to my money, unless the now defunct 200 is causing me problems!

I am curious to know about you guys opinion if we bring the Honda CBR150R into the picture?

@thread starter - If it is OT I will delete the post.

Why do you want to bring another non-existent bike into the picture?

^^ Because CBR150R makes a better comparison with the R15 and is supposed to be launched soon.

by the time the cbr hits the road someone else (yamaha, suzuki, etc) may announce a 250 from their stables.. and then you might end up waiting for that. look whats best for you and finalize on it.

as long as your 200 isnt giving you problems...and your not planning to get rid of it...you should wait...

Launch of CBR250 may be six months away. But surely some test ride review will out sooner. Be worth the wait and see the package.

Bro i am also in same condition, whether to trade my P220 dtsi(5 months old) for the 250 cbr.i don't think it would be a serious upgrade from P200 if u choose R15.letz wait for the real power surge.
