    Hi,

since you are planning to pick up your bike by the 1st half of 2011, it makes sense to wait and watch for new upcoming releases, Honda 250r etc. should be available around that time.

If not, then do your test ride with ZMR and then take you pick out of the two. R15 is a brilliant bike and yes it will take you approx a week or 2 to get used to the riding position.
However, end of the day its a personal choice, whether a sporty stance or a comfortable tourer.

You can't get everything from a bike be it ZMR or R15.. both have been designed specifically for different purposes.
I am sure you will take your pick wisely.
    ride safe

and i'll test ride a ZMR this week(as soon as the showroom gets one). But based on the internet gyan i've learned its kinda like a "no fun touring bike" thats all business and does not provide a fun ride....
but i want a bike which is fun and can give me awesome touring experience as well
Hey Bro..Can you believe I bought R15 without even taking any test ride? I just went by the suggestions by fellow Xbhpians......My height is 5'7". Yes it suits well to my height. But even I felt some problems earlier for about 200-300 Kms. Now I have ridden it for about 1500 Kms and I can say I feel pretty comfortable riding it. Its just a matter of adjusting to its sitting position...I also do tours of about 300 kms two times a month..And I feel comfortable.. And More than that I enjoy showing off my R15 at my home town (Its first such bike there....People dont even know which bike is this...)
Anyways I think just by taking a test ride wont be a justice for this beauty...!!...

I've ruled out p220 bcos of three important factors
          1- bad mileage
          2- bad looks
3- high maintainence due to low quality.....

are you referring to power distribution over different rpms in both bikes?
No Pal, I'm not talking about power distribution but the outright acceleration.
R15 is ahead in this catagory.
ZMR scores on meaty low end to mid range as its oversquare engine.

Buddy go for R15 eyes closed..You wont regret even I am buying and according to my extensive research of 2 months on internet, digging out all the information related to R15, R15 v/s X ...

I finally came to the conclusion that R15 really rocks...ZMR is too big and heavy and mileage problems too

I still didnt get my bike delivered...as I just booked it and will take more 10 days as its out of stock here but yeah whenever I see an R15 on road(which is rare here)) ...man I feel so good from inside that I am buying this beauty..

Reading all these comments has made me incline towards r15 somewhat....
she sure is a beautiful monster.
but the only concern is weather she'll bond with me.....
                me being 6ft tall.....
will she be able to satsfy my hunger to ride her for hours at times(pun intended )
