                this is also news ..

If you can handle the p220 and drive it around, rather than letting it drive you around, go for it and if you are a hooligan who wants to live a little longer apache abs is the answer. Just my personal opinion but Apache 180 is so much fun.

P.S. - This comes from an R15 owner

EDIT : OOOps didnt see the last two pages, congoz on your choice. Happy riding !

Congrats for the latest ownership ,The RTR . I didnt got to test an ABS yet of an ridden bike . A lot depends on that , I always wanted to have ABS on P220 , it will be an great tool in combination of speed on which P220 can do highways .

Is that true??? How about doing a 1600 KMs in a day and 2300KMs in 3 days among not the very best roads in India on a 220? Will that count for judging if 220 is comfortable for the rider ( I am not including Pillion rider here )? Because I did both these rides and after completing these rides went straight for work on the same bike. I won't lie but It was little uncomfortable, but not because of the Pulsar 220 rather because of the total distance. And I ride something around 20 KMs 5 days a week for my work without any issues afterwards.

By the way, I have nothing against Apache. I drove along with an Apache 180 RTR guy once while I was coming to Chennai from Bangalore. And man, was that fun? I didn't even feel the distance between the 2 place. and I think we both were well above 125 KMPH minimum, most of the times. What i felt in the ride was that he was getting more balance at the corners and I was on a more powerful machine. I would vow for Apache RTR 180 any given day after that day.

Apache RTR 180 or Pulsar 220

Hey guys i am 19 and currently have a Pulsar UG3 and looking for a new bike. Due to my budget, i have shortlisted these two bikes. First off, i wanna tell you guys that I absolutely love riding R15 but i can't buy it because of the budget constraints and i would like an experience close to what it provides. Secondly, i haven't actually driven any of these two bikes. All my driving would be in the city with just about 30-40 kms per day.

I am a bit leaning towards the Apache right now.
Right now this is what i think:
                                Pulsar 220:
+ faster in a straight line
                                - mileage's really low

                                Apache 180:
+ good riding position, excellent flickability
                                - looks, vibrations (?)

Also please tell if driving the Apache really feels like the R15. And also tell me about the vibrations. Any other things?

                                Thanks.
