They are about the same in mileage. Although I feel 220 gives a little better mileage than ZMA while ripping. But this cant be a deciding factorOriginally posted by amandeepkamboj19 View PostThanks for reply every one.
Rode FZ today well as compared to other 150 cc it rides well but lack power IMO.
Looks like i have to go for 220 or ZMA.
Now i know about reliability of both machines.
Acc of both the machines are good.
So deciding factor will be mileage
.
The things you should be looking at are Spare availability & After Sales Service. 220 will score here much better here.
So go for the 220

if you are all set for p220 then the new orange color willl be good or silver [black red are very common just my view].Originally posted by amandeepkamboj19 View PostTB is on sale as soon as its sold i am going to buy 220
Guys colour suggestion.
otherwise i will suggest you to go for CBR it has enough power and its a sport tourer as you owned TB earlier and you like its touring capabilities CBR may suit you and will better be called UPGRADING. going for p220 from TB can;t be justified [ for me otherwise your call your money]

I felt exactly the same way, but what i have decided is to go for 220 for now and will save money for a bigger machine coz 220 is very economic as compare to TB and CBR (cheap maintenance and acceptable mileage 35+)Originally posted by RhythmRana99 View Postif you are all set for p220 then the new orange color willl be good or silver [black red are very common just my view].

It took me about a year to get good price for my TB. Now finally it is sold.
In the past year many bikes were launched and accordingly my preferences have changed.
Please fellows suggest me some thing.
I am looking forward to buy new bike.
Budget up to 1.5 lakh. 40000 will be down payment rest will be EMI.
Dialy riding -40km (mainly city, bumpy roads, moderate traffice)
120km on weekends (smooth link road)
Bellow are the requirements.
1. Good millage(35+ will do)
2. Very reliable machine. Do not want to see service centre for any other reason but servicing.
3. Personally i love torque more then bhp(may be because i have never had any other bike but RE's, But this can be changed if i get more fun riding my new machine)
4. Decent acceleration. Wild acc will be preferred it confidence level is high.
5. Head turner.
6. 150cc or +
7. Want to enjoy it in city as well as on highway.
8. Pillion should feel comfortable while touring.
I am fed up of my RE after sales expenses and now i want a reliable bike with minimum after sale expenses, i dont want any unexpected expense once i borrow it.
Machines i dont like are ZMR, Dazzler(no offence to owners, these machines are good but not my type).
Last time i finalized 220 but at present i think better options are available
Please guide me to right machine.Last edited by amandeepkamboj19; 04-02-2012, 10:31 AM.

Dude, you are one Super-confused guy. I've been through your entire thread. You have taken opinions and test-rides, decided on a bike and then you resurrect this thread again with the same query and a bigger budgetOriginally posted by amandeepkamboj19 View PostIt took me about a year to get good price for my TB. 150K should get you the CBR250 but i think you'll resurrect this thread again post diwali with 200k budget. Get a test drive, read ownership threads and buy a bike. Don't be so confused. Once you buy a bike, you will have to go through some minor issues... it is a part of the experience. So don't be scared of the service centers and buy whatever bike your heart desires.sigpic

Assuming that you like the P220, and you still need something similar but armed with a higher budget, please go for the CBR250R. Stretch for the ABS if possible.Advice is a form of nostalgia.

Dear friend as i mentioned i was not able to sell my TB at good price, that is why i did not purchased 220 and mean while i was saving moneyOriginally posted by ankitshringi View PostDude, you are one Super-confused guy. I have short listed Duke 200 and CBR250R
I have gone through ownership threads of both these machines and i think both suits me well.
Is there any straight comparison available between thses two bikes.
Can any current owner could help me on this as per my preferences?

CBR has more torque than Duke.
CBR has taller gearing than Duke.
CBR should be more relaxed when doing 125kmph on the highway than Duke.
CBR Pillion seat is bigger than Duke.
Duke is lighter than CBR. (So torque deficit is somewhat covered)
Duke is more flickable than CBR.
Duke has a smaller footprint than CBR.
Duke *should* cut through traffic better than CBR.
Both are *almost equally* fuel efficient.
Duke costs a good 30k less than CBR, and crucially, it comes *inside* your budget. Even CBR (Non ABS) OTR price is > 1.5lac.
In the end, your left and right cheek are the best motorcycle reviewers.
At the cost of inviting backlash, I will say that CBR is for lazy people (= people who like low-end torque) and Duke is for active people (= Who don't mind working the gearbox to have some fun).Advice is a form of nostalgia.

Liked this lineOriginally posted by antz.bin View PostAt the cost of inviting backlash, I will say that CBR is for lazy people (= people who like low-end torque) and Duke is for active people (= Who don't mind working the gearbox to have some fun).
That's precisely how i feel after upgrading from Karizma to Duke.

I have decided to go for CBR250R
Now only problem is that no TR is available in yamunanagar.
Its pretty hard to put this much amount of money without TR.
I tried to convince Showroom people that i am really interested in buying it but they said that they will not be able to sell it to other customer if odo is showing that bike is already been ridden. Some part of me says that they are right even i will not accept a machine with reading in odo.
But buying without TR its like blind dating.
Guys what to do now
