well sam92, winning in a street drag is completely different ball game i hope u understand this...may the other guys are not as good as you are when it comes to drags or it could be something else!!! otherwise a stock rtr cannot beat a stock r15 in drags and its quite simple

@praful: I understand, and for the same reason i mentioned that fz16's rear tyre is 30% lighter than the tyres on other Indian bikes (on an average as mentioned by yamaha) and that is why, the 140 tyre on fz16 is absolutely appropriate for fz16 only its handling is not at all compromised even by a single percent

EDIT: both rtr and fz16 are excellent handlers...so the points to decide between them should be a) whether a person prefers a sporty riding position or a bit relaxed position b) which is more beautiful

the RTR has a sportier riding position than the FZ right? That means it isn't too good for longer rides then... what about pillion comfort on the RTR? We know the FZ isn't the best for pillions but what about the RTR?

RTR is made for street racings.... and Track racing.......

Touring and commuting in RTR is something that is not preferable......

But if you are practised - u can enjoy it.......

Since it is a High reving bike - It is suitable only for those racing enthusiasts............

Duh! I 'commute' about 150KMs a day on my RTR, and have no problem with the bike.... my average speed on express highways is 90+, otherwise it averages to 55

i told street racing in the trafic where we have to hard brake and take cutting edge turns .. RTR scores better ..
it can not beat R15 or P220 in a drag

If someone can commute 350 kays for a service, then yea 150 kms is also commute.

On a sidenote, where do you go man Satyen?
