Dude then why don you ask the person whom you know if ignitor and the rest of the models are going to be phased out or not?

Yep Bajaj bikes are always an issue after 2-3yrs...but still people who maintains it it sustains few more years!!

I have a Kawasaki Bajaj Aspire brought it before the break up of Kawasaki with Bajaj. Bike is nice and still delivers me an average of 70-75kmpl. But the only issue is parts!!

If you want your first bike with good average then Forget Ignitor!!
Go with Honda Shine!! which has 125cc engine with awesome average and other stuffs.
Honda bikes are good in engine refinement and reliability.
Ignitor would be discontinued shortly!! So INMO why to buy a bike which will be not seen after few time!!

You won't regret with Honda Shine ever!! It will serve you best in future years!!
First bike should be mind satisfaction with awesome mileage very low maintenance and most imp excellent engine!!

Now you decide which one suits you best!!!

Bro it will not be discontinued!! There's no news about it in the showrooms here in Bangalore and even in Dehli and the manufacturing unit.. As Diablo stated.. It would be better to not keep emphasising what we do not know for sure!!

Why will they tell anyone not to buy a product which is going to be stopped isn't that a LOSS ???

Any showroom would keep a small lot of each bike, so they would like to clear that before confirming any customer about the product shut down..

Most of the bajaj showroom din't know when would NS200 launch!! after full world knew the date then they told the dates.

One more example: My relative brought an esteem in march 2008 and model stopped in some Jan 2009. They won't tell you straight they are stopping the model.

Last month my friend brought a Ritz and the sales person din't even say that there is a new Ritz model to be launched and See today few days back Ritz new model launched.

And if Ravi has to believe then he will else he won't. But i have read in in some thread here impulse, ignitor and Majestro would be stopped soon.

So if any one encourages this stuffs then it's like fantasy world. The source here for stopping the models where true!! I guess it's in news section...
But still buying or not buying is totally TS's Decision!!! We can just suggest as you will suggest some and i will suggest some

The showroom guys will not tel? Fine i agree.. But Diablo says he has a relative or someone at HMC and why would they not tell it? Anyways i find it hard to trust a bit webpage page claiming the fact. Personally. buyer: we can only guide on pros and cons but since i do not believe that the model is gonna stop, i would recommend you for the bike. But rest of the choise is yours. As he says, hinda too has a range of quality products like shine, DY, etc.. But since you short listed it to only two, take a TD of both the bikes to know for sure and then buy... Cheers!!

stunner engine is not that efficient although it is 125 cc.

One of my best friends works as an engineer in Yamaha factory. He is saying me from last 1 yr there is an updated model of R15 with some cosmetic changes and a 250cc which will compete against CBR in cost wise and Ninja with tech wise.

Out of this one came true: R15 V2 was lauched after 5-7 months of his information.

Still he says in his factory Engineers and Tester are still working on 250cc they test ride that model in highways and it is best in 250cc...now it's more than a yr still we don't see the bike on road. When i asked for a pic then he said people related to that projects are not allowed camera phones, or any phone on floor!!

But he is dam sure by 2013 this model will be launched in first quater!! Even he don't know why it's not getting launched.
Even he had said me mopped from Yamaha is about to be lauched and it's 94cc but it came out to be 125cc!!

I confirmed it..63k price is of without disc brake variant & with disc brake it costs around 65-66k..

Yamaha is definitely working on @250cc...no dought about it...and they have to bring it because thats their strength. we all know how much time yamaha took to bring the updated R15V2 after long waits..they do take their own time for proper testing and leave no stones unturned for any defects. There are at least two or three more bikes coming in 2013-2014...one is Suzuki Inazuma 250 , second one from Tvs(Apache 250cc) and third one from Here moto corp.we will have to wait for Auto expo to see these models and their launch dates.

oh yes how can i forget yamaha szr but its 153cc bike and im new to riding bikes
should i go for it? i think SZR is expensive than above two bikes i chose

SZR is very easy to ride or handle. So no worries on those terms at all!! And SZr comes for 65-68K OTR and i guess P135 is also around some like that only!! But get it confirmed here or from showroom!!

​don't worry about being a newbie,those bikes are very much forgiving.it is all about being used to the power delivery,handling and braking.
