@ the thread Starter, as Soumen as said before gather your senses back and prioritize your needs for the bike first.

Agreed that XYZ is a very good bike, reliable engine, stunning looks, moderate performance and average mileage. But will that even matter to you if the bike is going to be phased out soon and you need to run around in search for matching body kits & engine parts? Finally with no option locally, left in vain shoot mails ho HQ's and still get no reply from them. I feel it's not worth taking that kind of pain unless & until it's an exotic that is worth laying your hands on. My idea of getting a new bike is, you should be enjoying it around and not parked in a corner awaiting spares if need be any.

My sincere suggestion is to look around for a bike that is in the market & go ahead with the advice from the members here. Will work out better.

I do not quite get you there. Bro he says its for a year he needs a bike.. What could go wrong in a year after he buy's the bike? I bet you parts would never be a problem... The company would have that sense to manufacture enough parts.. And the parts are manufactured by hero not honda!!! So phasing out is nowhere related to the parts availability... Its their duty to keep the spares stock up and running and am sure they will...

TS: If you are thinking of the Ignitor, why not the Stunner PGMF-i?? Great looks(same as the ignitor), better tech and great VFM. I know its a little costlier, but totally worth it in the long run!
Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.

        Rides : Honda CB Twister(Feb 2011 - Present) | TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS(Sept 2012 - May 2016) | Honda CBR250R C-ABS Repsol(March 2017 - Present)

Parts availability won't be on company production, but solely on SVC, because if there is a phase out possibility, then what if he don't order it as normal but as a request ??

I was facing parts issue for my Aspire within 6 months Bajaj closed the model!! My friend faced issue within a yr of Enticer was off.Stll he gets the parts from Yamaha but it takes at least a month for enticer parts or RX100. SVC are making business, so they will keep frequent selling products.

And the major issue here is IGNITOR is very new to market not even 6 months old and we are hearing it's phasing out news!!

          Precaution is better than Cure!!

But still it's solely on TS what he thinks and one more think any shut off bike faces very bad re-sale in market!! Whether it's an Enticer or P220Fi

Guys, the Height of P135, P150 & P180 is 1045mm, 1060mm & 1035mm respectively (Without RVM). As we can see P150 is only slightly taller then P135 so why everyone keeps saying that P135 is a very small bike & doesn't suit taller people? I've seen 6ft tall guys riding P150, P180 & they look just fine so why would a tall guy look funny on P135?

This is best to see in personally a tall guy riding it, back to back by average height person. Believe me, only height of bike don't decide whether that bike would fit tall riders or not, it over all bike design and length....

very true..its not just height of the bike but overall design which will make that bike better suitable for taller persons..

Just go to the showroom and book your ignitor.. Else sit down and think if you are ready to sacrifice your mileage and upgrade your cc (with rise in fuel prices)... That would be your first important step. Next most important is the comfort.. Test ride the bikes in the segment which you have short listed.. And then looks.. This is how i chose my ride and i guess thats how most of them do..
