He had a crush on higher bike so he went for it. But can't use the optimum level of performance from this bike!

Same is with you... If you have made up your mind then go with CBR ABS, but remember where will you use the power and Speed of CBR in city?? You have to tour for this criteria!!!

Remember anything more than required is waste of money!! UNless untill you don't use it.

But Passion has it's own cost which riders pay to full fill!!

Does that mean everyone who wants a bike to commute in city with rare highway trips should not go for these bikes? Don't you get a better overall package with bikes like CBR?
Don't you get better brakes? better handling? better acceleration? better tyres? Aren't these important in city riding?

Also, there are ample opportunities in a city to make use of the entire package. You don't just make use of only power of a bike, you make use of the entire package as a whole.

When we pay for something more is always right, is not necessary. If you compare CBR's tyres then being so broader they are not that capable as they should be.
Better acceleration/speed/power is what CBR 250 is selling for!!

Handling , Nope CBR is not that good as compare to R15 in braking and handling. But these two bikes are very different in nature too, one is Sports bike and other is Sport tourer.

Love is Love and can't be measured in any constraints!!

But when you talk about city usage with better brake, better acceleration and better handling then there is only one guy Shining out all corners that is DUKE!!

But only one question my friend, WHere will you use CBR power?? and Speed in city ?? as soon as you crosss 60kmph you will find a traffic signal or people crossing roads, so i suggested with not to buy something which won't be used.

And there is a difference with rare usage and nil usage of highway!!
If a person goes for a tour atleast once in a month then it is justified else that CBR will be in wrong place!! Like Lions in farms and Bulls for hunting !!

There can be a big debat on this becuase love is love!! But practically thinking makes things more simpler and better. Why to spend more when your work can get in something less than that dude!

          VERY TRUE!

But since childhood, we(at least I) were fans of those mouth watering fairings and now when we are capable of buying it, we want it. That's a bad human nature and unfortunately I am trapped too

          Can't decide Heart (cbr,r15) or Brain (duke/p220/200ns) ?

Oh is it ?????? i thought CBR had good brakes as well, barring the ABS option.

Are your above two beliefs contradictory ????? If you are not able to use a torqey CBR in the city, then what makes a high revving machine suitable to City usage???

I agree to one of your statement, while disagree with another.

Agree - In city rides, one needs a bike with good low end torque. I own a P200NS, and I'm suffering a bit for it's bad low end. I guess the Duke is worse than NS in the low end.

Disagree about CBR handling being better or At per with R15 - R15 is any day a better handler than CBR.

What about cbr250's low end torque?and what do you mean my low end? below 4k? 5k? 6k?

                    ^^
CBR has better low end than Duke.
And by low end , i mean the pulling power of the bike at low RPMs. Say 4k and below 4K

But then again on the other side, a faired bike is difficult to maneuver in bust city streets

Did i disagree to that statement ????? i wanted to know on what basis he quoted that Handling and "braking" is better in R15. There is also one more aspect apart from Handling in that statement.

Go with what you are comfortable with. There would be 1000s of answer to one questions , but choose the best answer. So calmly think and decide. No hurry, after all this will be atleast 3+ yrs investment.

ABS is something which makes the CBR good but if it gets more better type of tyre then it will be best.
Ask this same question CBR thread you will get the answer, still not satisfied then go ride it yourself initially ride R15 then CBR, you get the difference.

Read it again, Did i suggested CBR for City?? i can't see that. And gets some facts on CBR dude!!
Ain't there is a difference between high reving and High Torque, IS it necessary that good torque is produce in high rpms only?? So, as per you even Duke is not good for City ??
And please explain why one should buy a CBR250 in city if they have nil highway usage??
check this what owner has to say about CBR in city
