Are you sure on the bold part ?? GTR has more sporty position than R15. Sports bikes are never good for touring or bad roads at all because it will start a pain in your butt or hands!! He will regret on his decision while touring some long stretch or bad roads. It is all over one's dedication with a sports bike.

If I am you Will go for the green bike, inspite of being a tourer myself. If you can buy a best built bike that even have a slipper clutch, you may decide to forget the back pain for the euphoria.
My friend who did north east ride on a duke 200 said, it wasn't a pleasure, he found the suspension bottoming out often and overall too fragile for the abuse. He is some 90 kg I guess

A RE fan won't go for continental GT INMO.
RE has charm with relax posture and torque with the heavy weight of it.
If you think of a GT as a racer then it's better you opt for CBR150 or Duke which is more better in terms of handling and braking.
You get tubeless tyres as well which are missing from GT.
If it has to be a tourer then it has to be a relaxed posture else rider won't enjoy..Comment
