Karizma R and CBR250 are able tourer. You should get either of the two. Yes, ZMA-R has some spare parts issue but you won't need them atleast for 10,000 kms. If possible stretch your budget and go for a new CBR250. The reason I am suggesting this is you might get a good looking CBR250 within a lakh but then the electronics are the backbone of CBR.The condition of FI system, lights, Radiator, ECU cannot be judged unless you have used it for some days.

I have used ZMA-R extensively. Its a gem of a machine, able to take in what abuse you put it through. Even I was planning for another ZMA-R after selling off the older one but then with CBR I got everything. Latest tech, tubeless tyres, front and rear disc brakes, better illumination(55w bulb stock) and offcourse attention on the roads.

Duke on the otherhand is nice city bike where you have enough petrol pumps. If you want to tour on D200 or D390, get prepared to carry extra fuel because remote areas won't have enough fuelling stations.

Agreed, ZMA-r's stock light are pathetic but you can always use an 35W HID without any mods since its a DC bike.

Yeah.. true point about duke.. in that case with a zmr.. i never had to worry.. a tank full has taken me upto 750kms with almost 1.5ltrs to spare when i filled ip the tank again.. on the highways of course

I picked up a used Duke 200.
I have to be honest with you, never had so much fun while riding in my entire life.
Here's hoping for a safe ride along with lots of fun in the future

Come on yaar don't quarrel out here of FE wala issue. FE depends a lot on riding habbits...use clutch, brakes, sudden/gradual accelaration etc. I have got a min avg of 28 kmpl on my CBR250 and recetly 34 kmpl(tested yesterday) on the same bike. These figures are in city including crowded places, slow moving traffic, open roads, high speed runs. The only difference being my riding has improved. I just want to point out even riding habbits make a huge difference in FE.

NS200 is best for touring within 1L and if you will to go ahead than go with CBR250 any time.
