Oh yes I remember him now, this is the same guy, also he had posted asking about Gixxer and other bikes too. . .

To the @TS, if this is another of your just question askings, please stop posting new threads and go through the ownership experience forum and learn there and stop wasting our times. . .

I think you had asked about Unicorn, Gixxer, 200NS and may be few more which I am unaware of. . . If you are seriously going for it, do let us know, we'll help you out but just for curiosity, please visit the ownership forum. . . Do make time for yourself and test ride all the bikes you are having in mind, do some homework, zero down to one or two or few and then let us know, we'll help you sort which is the best one for you and not this way, just asking questions. . .

Cheers!!!

@TS : If you want everything in one single bike, no one on this earth can help you with that.
If you want just mileage and comfort, then Xtreme it is.

@SatSon , @Rakesh Rok

I was to book NS200, But my father disagreed for a 200cc, he wants me to get around 150cc. And yes Gixxer is still my no.1 choice if it was launched on 27th Jan I would have already owned it by now but cant wait, not certain if Suzuki will launch it even in July.
So the Next bike I could think of was Xtreme until my friend suggested to go either for FZ or Apache. I am no fan of FZ so went for test ride of Apache and Xtreme. I am not a spammer but being new to biking just trying to get help so that I don't end up with a bike which gives trouble later. And yes I have gone thru the ownership thread of Apache, in fact posted my questions there too. I am sorry if some of you think that I wasted your time. But I have like 11 days until I get my salary and can book my first bike.
shadowgun , Nope my father disagreed to help me in getting 200NS. The good thing is my best friend already bought NS on his bday last week And i already drove it for 30 kms

Re: Apache or Xtreme

The Gixxer, new XTreme (Sports) etc are bikes worth wait for. But even if they get launched in 1-2 months, Gixxer being a completely new bike, not sure if it'll have niggles in the first few batches just like 200NS, D390 etc.
If its your first bike and you wan't a trouble free ownership, go ahead with Xtreme/Apache, you won't regret...

As you say you can't wait for long, then it's best to go with either of the two, personally I am recommending you Apache over Xtreme as I have rode both extensively. . . Rest is your choice. . . I don't mind answering your questions but the only thing is that it shouldn't be for time pass, if you are really interested then any day will help you out. . . That's the reason I asked you to do some home work, test ride and zero them down to few bikes, out of which we can advice you on the best. . .

PS: Try convincing your dad for 200NS because it is a better buy than the above two. . .

Cheers!!!

Convince your Dad, that you will never speed up. Take oaths before him... Then he might agree on P200NS... All the best....

I had tried convincing already, wont ask again. I was comfortable with Apache so will stick to it.

Now, are the vibrations that bad in Apache? Never got a chance to ride at higher speed where people complain most about the vibes.

And how much difference in mileage can I expect between a 160 and 180 RTR?

Re: Apache or Xtreme

I own an FZ and my Friends who ride with me own an Xtreme and an Apache.
Let me tell you my view. Xtreme is good enough but do expect some vibrations beyond 5K rpm.
FZ, not that I own it, has the best handling of these three, and great performance. But least in Mileage.
FZ gives me 43-48 Kmpl, Xtreme 45-52Kmpl and Apache 45-55Kmpl.

If you feel mileage isnt an issue and you can deal with the occassional niggles with service center, FZ is a great bike to own.
Else I suggest you to take the Apache. Its great too, but beyond 75 it vibrates a bit.
If you still have any queries regarding these three rides, mail me or PM me

Not buying FZ. I know its a great bike, but I am just not inclined towards it. And I will be driving in city 90% of times.. Occasionally if long drive then I may drive at 100 kph, Hope the vibrations wont hurt . I am ruling our Xtreme for now.

Xtreme out
FZ out
200ns out

Then mate, buy Apache 'only option'

Ride safe and have fun.

This is the reason why you can't take a final decision. You are thinking way too much. Bike should be finalized in at most a week, extend it more and you would get confused in the market.
You won't get everything in a single bike. every bike lacks some feature that other might have. So buy with which you feel connected.
When I had bought my bike 2 years back, I had only I bike in my mind (for the budget I had) and bought that as soon as I got the budget. No confusion and nothing.

Ride safe and have fun.

You cannot ride a bike with LL, it takes one month for DL to arrive after LL Atleast.

We need a bike to ride not LL. Bike ka kuch ata pata hi nahi, DL ka tension kya lunga
