I know the rules. At the same time I know how most of the people in India make DL. I have seen people who have CAR/BIKE DL, even when they haven't driven one. Does having a DL guarantee safety on roads? Nope, it doesn't. Atleast I am learning bike and will take it on the roads only when I am utmost certain and in control and not because I have a DL. As per the rules, we can drive with LL if we have a person sitting behind us with DL which my roomie does with whom I will be traveling to office daily.
And what do you mean "This kind of people", I am not a stubborn kid who will drive insanely breaking rules and stuff. Thank you very much MR. responsible citizen!!

Get your facts right, you can not ride with Learner's License on state road, gullies you might be. rest your wish, your reply made everything clear specially the bold part.
BTW we are talking about rules here.

@prateek2210 ,Ya well you saw only the bold part? And its not only about the rules, but safety also. In Bangalore at least they take proper tests before giving DL but not in most of the places in India, so it doesn't matter if a person knows to drive or not.

And in city we are not allowed to drive with LL? if not then I realize my mistake and sorry.

We are going off topic anyways. I know what you people are trying to make me understand and I am not here to break rules either. But people have got a wrong image of mine which is not acceptable for me.

And to add, I got my facts right. We can drive with a LL if we have a pillion on board with a valid DL. Come on man! I ain't breaking any rules.

            Re: Apache or Xtreme

As per rules in Kerala, one can drive a bike with LL. He needs to have a person with DL behind and need to display bold "L" letter(both rear/front) on the vehicle.

Yes, the Apache RTR. I am thinking of 160, but again 180 comes with just 3k extra bucks which may give very less mileage - around 35kpl only right?

As far as I know about LL : person with LL can ride in city with pillion having DL ,bold L infront and behind the vehicle and within specified speed limits.
