Out of the three - Yamaha is the best in terms of after sales service.
hero comes second, it is average in most places, not too good not too bad.
Honda is the most pathetic. they dont know s**t, and are arrogant, like they did you a favor by selling you the bike. Complain about a problem in the bike and they will find your fault in it, even if it is a manufacturing defect or their mechanic's mistake.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

              Hero>Yamaha?Honda.
Look at the ownership threads of ZMR. As to what kind of an effect a single email has on the manager of an ASC. Hero after sales are improving A LOT. In case of a colour being out of stock, the guys at the help desk will assist you till the date of delivery as said by a fellow member.
Yamaha is equally good. Honda, i've got no experience.

All of them suck big time when it comes to after sales service. It depends on tje way you handle them. Be aggressive and you can get the job done.. Hero in my experience have responded very well after i struck a couple of mails for 2 different issues.. since them i am being treated as a 1st priority in Service Centers.. same might go with the other manufacturers..

Re: Totally need help...want to buy a new bike

Honda is the efficiently most poorest brand in after sales service, hero and yamaha are little better, but not totally satisfactory, the service centres quality differs from service centre to service centre.

Fz V2.0 and FZ-s v2.0 have the same 150 cc engine. They will give you 40+ mileage, if ridden sanely, are reliable, Yamaha build quality is superb, superior fuel injection technology, good service centers.

Trigger also have 150 cc engine, good long life Honda engine, super smooth and reliable, will also give 40+ mileage if ridden sanely, but Honda service centers suck big time.

200NS and Duke 200 are much more powerful, have bigger engines, so mileage will take a hit, service is expensive as they are performance machines, spare parts are expensive.
                      choose wisely.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

It may give 40+ mileage if the roads are clear and you ride it sanely, but as soon as you hit a traffic jam or stop and go traffic the mileage will drop to 30 -32. So if your travel includes highways you can get NS but if you ride in the city traffic then NS will never give more than 35.

As for the NS fi, it dont think 200 will have fi any time soon. The only reason they put carburetor in NS is to reduce the cost, that is why NS is 50000 bucks cheaper than Duke. So the customer have a choice, to pay more for a premium product or to pay less for desi product.
Choose the one that suits you the best.

200 NS would be a good choice, Indian make, Spares are kind of less expensive (a bit more than other Pulsar models), Mileage is good (apprx 42 kmpl) , its got 6-speed transmission, decent power and pickup. Service and maintenance will be a bit easy on your pocket.
