    Maverick,

It is the torque which has me addicted mate. Zma vs FZ. Zma hands down. AFAIK, the FZ will become dated in a year or two looking at the way it is selling right now. So, for the long trm, the Zma makes more sense.

However, I will continue promoting the cause of the big bulls. It is a bullet thing you see.

    BTW, did your lady arrive?

^^Lets take my Zma's arrival-discussion to PM's or SMS bro. Aryan dada or MG will be sniffing around and in no-time bang, all the posts will be gone

I've ridden a Electra 5S and that Bull itself had me grinning ear-to-ear after a km long ride
Can't imagine how the big momma 500LB will be.

@Raghav : Buddy, this discussion is very clearly outlining your best options
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

But nonetheless, I seriously don't think it's power would be a bottleneck when touring. I mean I am sure it can cruise between 80-90km/hr. all day long. And seriously speaking, that's enough for me to both enjoy the ride as well as the vistas around me.

So, if you want my suggestion - go for the FZ-16. Ofcourse the Karizma has a 200cc+ mill and all the extra supposed goodies that comes with such a machine, but then again like Pulsars, Karizmas abound on our roads (ofcourse Pulsars win hands down when it comes to "popularity" among the masses).

All said and done, go and get an FZ, it sure is 'Lord of the Streets'.

P.S: Karizma wouldn't really have been on my list anyways. It would've been a fierce competition between the FZ and the FZ! I would've been more confused regarding which colour to choose!

definitely i support aryan bhayya... coz i own an FZ16... the day which i bought my bike itook along ride which is more than 300+kms which i enjoyed very much and as @aryan said 80-90 kms/hr will not take that much effort in FZ even thought ZMA can beat FZ in top speed... my friend has got ZMA which now a days he cant hit a top speed not more than 115km/hr... and also at that speed the bike vibes like a mill(dont know it is for all ZMA's)...

My personal opinion go for FZ16... u won't be regretted...

That Karizma is very badly maintained I say. Do not assume that all Zma's are like that. After two years and with 35000 on odo, my bike still touches 130 kmph.

yeah bro.. i feel its more of how we react to the condition of bike.. there can b tons of problem.. it merely also depends upon how we ride..
now am a ripping kind of rider & a tourer who likes to go a long distance drive solo or with a group..
so indeed there r some checks & replacements needs to performed after a long drive..
maintain it well & the machine will never let u down.. b it ny bike..
zma i personally find most comfortable bike for my daily & touring purposes..!
got enough power to bring u an adrenaline rush ..
its not only bike.. theres a relation of a rider with the ride

^^ I second Ravi on that.

BTW, @Raghav, at this stage it is best for you to test drive both the ZMA & the FZ in close to ur usage conditions and decide. Both are good. They won't let you down. But choose accordingly! My pick - more city = FZ - more highway = ZMA.

yeah thats true as well.. depends on what your requirement is..
both are good in their segments & where they stand..
Fz16 for me is really good for regular usage. more of city riding as been said.
Karizma specialises on higway, though wont face any problem in city ride as well..
Whatever machine you may have, you will adopt the comfort on it..!

I would suggest you decide on factors such as .. Where will you be riding.. Which one you like as in design also.. since this is very important.. we like sometimes a machine when we look at it.. also check out if u like to drive fast or cruise..!
so based on this I think you should be happily taking a decision.. now take a decision.. get the machine & let us knw ur opinion & your experience.. ofcourse with some pix..! go dude.. a machine is waiting for u..
                      all the best man..

You better have a test ride bro. I am 5'9" and 60kg. I do not feel any trouble handling the 150+kg ZMA.

One of my friend is 5'3"-5'4" with 45-50kgs and has been riding ZMA for more than 3 years .. and if he can do that really well without any crash then I must say, any avg person can ride ZMA.

But I personally feel, a lot depends on the individual. Your friend at 5'3" and 45kg is comfortable. That's fine. But this does not mean that anyone with that height and weight will be comfortable in a ZMA. So, one better have a test ride before jumping into anything. That's my personal opinion though.

Its the technique that matters in riding, not the size of the rider! The winner of the 1000cc category drag race at Shamshabad was hardly 5'3"&weighed around 55 max.
