Thats right dude.. I have a ZMA and have never regret to have bought it. Don't worry about the price tag. You will have a good time riding it and inside city as well cruising in the highways.

I personally feel that that the brand name 'YAMAHA' can always be trustworthy, but the hidden fact is that, just the brand name does not come to the picture when its the riding that matters.

ZMA could cruise in the highways and be a pleasant companion for you in the city.

Specs wise both are same in terms of the braking and controls are concerned. ZMA has got a 223 CC of raw power and FZ has 153 CC of an amazing pick up.

In case you have some time to wait, do so for the YAMAHA R125!!!

Look no further than ZMA if u ca afford to get one ZMA. But if u can wait ,I hope u had heard rumors abt a new ZMA jst round the corner, who knws what going to cme.
But if u can take an Karizma then please dont even think abt FZ16.....No way !!!

Karizma my friend, it is an overall better bike with the looks and an awesome overall package, its scores more in terms of value for money also, FZ16 could have better if it had more power on tap, until then Karizma all the way

test drove Bajaj Avenger 200 DTSi today.
I don't know why i totally overlooked this bike, maybe cos I wanted to mostly ride in the city limits only.

But it's sooooo comfrtable!!! First time Ive ridden a cruiser, and I was smitten by the comfort and the looks.

Is there a new zma Fi around the corner??? With HH track record, i don't think there'll be one before 2010.
Rumours were that the new 1 was also supposed to have higher engine cc, hp and torque, rear disc, and full fairing costing around 1.7 lakhs. (a bit too much for my budget!)

OT, but i just wanted to state that the NOIDA Sector 18 Probiking showroom staff have extremely high customer focus and courteousness. Maybe cos it's a new one, but in any case, I had a really delightful and satisfying experience there.

out of FZ& Zma I would recommend ZMA any day.

As for Avenger 200, its a different bike altogether with good ride & decently powerful engine. Downsides are lower seating, long turning radius(its a long bike)

Yes, technique and rider skill matter in racing...in day to day riding and in traffic where the bike would come to a hault more often than not...its the riders leg reach to the Ground that Matters! With a comfortable reach to the ground, its still quite a task to back up the Zma while being seated.

So for those who are a lill' short(in-seam challenged) its better to stay clear from the Zma...unless you won't be doing a lot of city riding.
Not to forget, the reach to the Zma's handle bars would also be a concern for the vertically challenged. No offence fellow riders, but this is something to look into while going in for bikes with taller seat height.

                            ZMA.. definitely!!

I agree to the fact that Akkiben has brought up.. for a tourer, the handle bar reach is the cream.. but I should also say that for city riding, that would not be a major concern. If you are a tough rider, who often tours, I would recommend the ZMA.. Ive done 45K in 4 years and has never let me down in any instance(anyways, it depends on how you feed her)..

For a city ride, both FZ as well as ZMA should do well. Both the bikes need a lot of attention to be paid regularly, so that would not be a difference to consider at all.

For your height, it should definitely look good and I am pretty sure that you will be able to handle its weight and power!!!

ZMA would be the ultimate choice.. do post in your comments after you get it..

i rode my babe home today. it is here! :-)
Black with black alloys. All stock setup, for the time being.

and i still thank god (n xBhpians :P) that i spent 6.5K more for Zma over d FZ. Very satisfied with my buy.

OKish sales experience too with Himgiri Auto, Krishna Nagar Delhi. Not bad, atleast not as much as I had started to expect from hearsay about HH showroom sales

Now maybe ppl will be confused between FZ and Apache RD/Fi and 200 DTSi oil coole.

But Zma vs Fz.... no confusion! Period!
