Why didn't you said that sir this is a HD but is made by RE for Harley. That answer would have been appropriate, acutally we always underestimate or don't believe on our own ability, and that's why we ran for imported products. Well done RE but just improve your ASC also.

I was wondering why haven't ownership thread for Continental GT come up yet. I am eagerly waiting for a good review from an owner's perspective.

The issue with the spark plug has been resolved by the company....I believe they replaced all the existing plugs with another plug of Bosch brand....not sure of the model...the air filter issue has been resolved by providing a cover for the same...the wobbling issue has been solved by the addition of some rubber bushing to the swingarm side and the increase of 18" front rims to 19"....the main issue which was claimed by many was the paint job....they too have been improved after the change in production factory...I believe its bigger and better than before....the absence of O2 sensor does not really affect a generally warm country like India (please seniors, excuse me if I'm wrong), its omission has also helped to keep the price in check.

I honestly don't think there are many issues prevailing now except for the fact that you get a defective piece or lemon(which is very unlikely).
All your issues will also be covered under warranty too....

To me....everytime I wring the throttle....I feel my dugu dugu literally pulls like a train....!!!

So then why fear about anything?

Buy a piece of history that India thumps on...

Man are you sure that RE has resolved all of the problems, i don't think so, recently me and my friend went to the showroom of RE for booking electra, we took a look on the electra model that was on display, and the display model had some issues first of all the paint job was not upto the mark, secondly the buffed engine parts were covered with black dust, exhaust had got a small dent which even the showroom guy didn't knew and we had to point this dent to him, i don't know of the new FI bullets but the older one with FI's were totally nightmare, the service centres were not equipped with the mandatory equipments to deal with the problems of FI and Ecu,what i have heard is that some older desert storms were renowned for fouling of plugs as company has not fitted Fi with O2 sensors, as O2 sensor alone costs 15 to 20,000 Rs, before purchasing FI bullet i would say pls do visit there service centres and see that whether they have got these necessary equipments and trained personnal to deal with electronics gizmos or not.
