hehehe...someone must be sitting around with a bottle of coke and a bucket of popcorn

No Im not trying to defend the Pulsar or Bajaj for that matter...its just that stalling issues will occur with any and every bike that you buy off the market. In some you have major ones and in the other you wont even see it till it becomes a major one.
It also depends a lot on how you maintain it...

@Inder: enough of the OT...and yes, HH is a fill it, shut it, forget it

Hope i would get my hands on it.
Forget it....that ZMA is a 100% rumor! Honda has'nt introduced FI even on its 2009 CRF230. And the rest is just a cook-up! As for the 220 upgrade, again its rumour, Bajaj has'nt anywhere mentioned that they are going to be upgrading it!

It might end up being a wild goose chase if you keep waiting for these rumours that you are hearing!

            Thanks in advance
In addition the list that niks mentioned there have been several changes, most being internal that have helped the bike in being more reliable.

But that being said, I can tell you that you most probably will not face any major issue with the 220, but it definitely needs regular maintenance!

hmmm then i am sure just the relay coil ,starter motor and some ecu thing also has been changed in my bike , remaining things are the way they were.I hardly ever visit the sc , and when i do atleast they never tell me if they changed something in the bike.

i like Pulsar 220 most but not sure abt. its reliability and smoothness of engine,And i want to know when the new 220 with 21 bhp coming?I like R15's looks, but it is cramped(i think),and with the tech-goodies it comes,it do not justifies it price,Also its not good for city riding as its power is optimized for higher rpms(for touring etc).....Karizma is a brillant tourer but it lacks goodies. Also i wont do much tourung......
plz. help me guys,i m in a great fix.........!
You want to choose between 3 bikes....and you have a problem with all 3 bikes.

First and foremost, the bikes you have chosen are not intented for city riding(which is your requirement) Zma and P220 are big and heavy bikes(by Indian standards) and R15 is geared to deliver its horses at higher revs.
You tend to be leaning towards the P220 and the owners have spoken about its reliability.

RTR Fi should be considered is what i would say, taking into consideration your city useage.

@Aditya-biking pro: let me clear some things to u....

P220's reliability is better than before, but its long term reliability is still no where close to ZMA, u'll have to spend more on its maintenance than on ZMA, simple.

R15: It's NOT cramped. Small in size doesn't mean that the bike is cramped, ok. Its completely fine for the men of all shapes and sizes unless u are abnormally big or small!!! And please, for god's sake, there's no problem in riding R15 in the city, ok! It has got enough grunt at the bottom. So it's good.

ZMA: It's a proven motorcycle in every kind of a weather, place...u name it, this bike has been there, done that!!! Frankly, ZMA's carburator works better than the P220's FI system....hehehe.....for me, its still better than P220 in everything!

And u say R15s price is not justified...do u even know what it offers??? Pick R15 if u have the money i'll say.

I would take RTR 180 Menace not the 160 fi because i want to have a little more power,if the 180 doesn't launches in the mean time,i'll go home with the 220.

I wish i had driven the P220, but the P200 sure din invoke much of the biking spirit.

And then go on to complain about the initial niggles.

U just need to keep it above 3000RPM..which will take couple of days to get used. I am pretty much satisfied with R15's city drive.
