Thanks mate, I guess I will have to dig up number off google for these showrooms.
It sounds logical too, they would not bother letting any tom Divk and harry take a test ride and ride away like the harley case

      Gollum,

There is nothing called as Vibe-free bikes unless it runs on electric motor or some hybrid tech used in i8. You will have Vibes at certain RPM range and may vanish as it pass through that range.

With you budget of 3L, KTM 390 seems to be the best VFM with Slipper clutch and ABS as standard, Since riding in city traffic, ABS should come in handy. Not that it is the most important aspect one needs for riding, its good to have. Its a single cylinder though and tends to produce more heat and you may feel it while driving.

TNT 300 is a parallel twin, good amount of power, but doesnt have the latest tech as used in N300 or 390. Its a good city commuter and highway tourer too. If aggressive riding stance is what you like, try the RC390.
      R15S - Current
      Honda Dio - Current
      TNT 600i - Sold
      Classic 500 - Sold
      Pulsar 220 dtsi - Sold

        Thanks for your input.
I don't really prefer the aggressive riding position and I can see how much my friend hates riding his R15 which he bough with such passion.
RC is even more aggressive than R15 and has (in my opinion)the worst of exhaust note.
So far I am getting interested in TNT but I wonder what my options will be if I move to a place that does not have any service centers for benelli.
Yamaha at least would have service in most parts of India but Benelli would leave me handicapped if I move to a rural place in the future.
Does Kawasaki have Bajaj as their service provider in rural places?

Are you from Bangalore. If so, you dont have to worry about any service centres. I have seen people travel 200kms just to get their vehicle serviced. I doubt if bajaj in rural areas does Kwacker service. You might have to bring it to the nearest big city as the technicians might not be educated/trained for those premium vehicles.

Looking at your inputs, TNT 300 is for you.

If you intend to go with more sporty & stylish look & ride, R3. But as per what you wrote on first post, TNT 300 is all what you are looking for.

PS: Vibe Free Bike is myth. (IMHO)...

I wont hurt to get a head turner if you are paying so much.
One can get a bike for less than 60k if the point is only to reach from point A to B.
I know there are a lot of checkboxes in my list but I wont say I am asking for too much

                    1. Budget: 3L. I will be taking a loan for 3LS and have saved up around 80k separate

                    >I have never driver a bike more than 150CC (I have driver R15, and plsar150)
                    >I have been drive my age old Splendor for the past 14 years and now this bike is tool old to even keep up with Bangalore traffic speeds.
                    >I have no problems with aggressive riding positions. I like R15 a lot. Its a beautiful machine but sort of vibrates a little.

Please do not suggest pulsars or Enfields.
                    Thanks
If your budget is strictly 3 lacs I suggest the RC390. You get the bike and also left with lot of cash for some awesome riding gear.

Splendor is at 9 bhp and a RC390 is 43 and that 5x power will take you by surprise, in a good way though. In a fun way. Just mentioning this to point out that this will be a great upgrade and you will truly feel the performance of these bikes, whichever you end up buying.

                    All the best!

All the bikes mentioned here are great in one way or another. It all boils down to personal preference. There are ownership threads for said bikes, you can go through them as well. Ultimately since these bikes are in your budget, go test ride all of them and then take a decision.

Yes, you are right. I also did the Bhp measurement.
It makes splendor look like a kitten when compared to the LION that is RC/TNT/R3
Many of my colleagues say that the death rate is the highest on RC. I think that is just BullS.. It all depends on the rider and partly on the rest of the traffic/crowd.

The problem with ownership threads is that every biker is a fan of his own bike.
But yes, you do get in depth review and more knowledge from owners then people who get paid to review the Bike.
I am waiting for the weekend to go test ride R3 and TNT.
I did like RC but the vibes of single cylinder is a territory that I do not wish to enter.

I would have considered it if the price was good.
Kawasaki Bikes are so expensive that getting them will be asking way too much.
