Why not ER-6n? The naked version of Ninja 650? I guess you have given up on TNT600i as well?

I intend to tour..and lack of fairing affects windblast on highways...I know it should not be a major concern but still...

I had to forget Bennelli as a brand..due to limited service network, high cost of maintainance and off course its reliability is not as good as kawasaki..
I have been following ownership thread of TNT 300..the owners are having a tough time..
I moving away from RE.. despite tremendous pressure from peer group..because of the reliability.. so no Benneli..
Otherwise TNT#600GT would have been an excellent choice for its price tag.

You should try to re-evaluate your requirements. You want a bike for daily riding and touring. Whats your daily riding to Touring ratio in terms of kilometers and days of the week?

How many Kilometers per day do you ride for commuting per week and how many days per week do you tour for how many kilometers?

You budget is 3lakhs for a new bike around the 300cc twin cylinder segment and 3lakhs for a used bike around 600cc twin cylinder segment. I wonder who is giving a used 600cc bike for 3lakhs

Daily riding and some touring: Er6n, just put a custom aftermarket wind deflector on the front and you will do fine with 'Wind blasts'

Strictly touring: Versys650, but you wont get a second hand versys650 for under 3lakhs. It was just launched

N650: No comments, not my type of bike

            Thanks Royalindian..

            I thought I mentioned it..but I realised I didn't..
With God's grace and wifes permission..my budget has gone up..I can now comfortably go for a new Ninja 650 and strech my self to a versys..(now thats where I am stuck at presently)

And my ratio of daily commute and tour (have included short trips).. would be 60:40.. 60 being daily commute..

Went to KTM showrrom at CP to have a look at the Versys.. they were not very enthusiastic... but it was nice to know that there is no waiting period..
I do not want to take any loan..and I have to wait till Apr 15th.. to have enough Money..
On rd cost is 7.28 in Delhi..
So I ll short list some accessories and riding gear meanwhile..
