Yes and I wonder how you'd feel when the same Bajaj would outpace your Honda in city as well on the highway despite costing the same and having better lights, tires, instrumentation (all fancy blingy stuff)! XD XD XD

    *No, I don't ride a Bajaj.*

So, should I close the thread now that you got the much needed motivation to go for the bike of your choice?
I would say "Yes Please" The sentences being thrown around this thread are of the 'Asli mard Bullet chalate hai. Baki sab plastic' category. Stereotype overdose!

But after all the things i mentioned above and finally reading what @TVSian said, I was like YES!
I'll be on a Honda, and they'll be on a Bajaj. xD
Just in case you go ahead with the Bajaj and you see a CBR pass you, think "My bike is definitely male" that will make you feel better too
The way you ride is the way you are..

You could say the same thing if you're riding smug on an Activa and a Kratos zooms past you...just sayin'.

One more funny snippet : my mom approved the CBR 250 because it's Honda.
The only Bajaj product in the house my mom hates. She cribs about the power, the design and the motor noise. It's a mixie. [emoji23]

After that, I had to promise her no more Bajaj products.

Haha good one! But Bajaj mixer grinders are made by Bajaj Electricals Limited and Kratos is made by Bajaj Automobiles Limited, 2 different entities.

Whereas Kratos,Brand new Bike,MIGHT have some issues.Granted its way more powerful than the CBR,But me personally,I would go with CBR and stay on the safe side.

                And yeah that too - 'I'm on a Honda,They're on a Bajaj,There is a pretty big difference'
I also bet ya that most (not all) people with the Kratos will be the stupid youngsters with no riding gears.Whereas the CBR guys,Are more matured

If you want to wait for the Kratos,Also keep an eye out on the BMW G310R.

                That would be like - 'I'm on a TVS-BMW/Honda,They're on a Bajaj,"Nuff said'

                Okay guys a BAD NEWS
I visited a Honda Showroom today and the guy was like 1.96 for Non ABS and 2.29 for the ABS and 2 months of waiting period!!
(If somebody can help me with the waiting period, please do. I stay in Mumbai.)
I was so pissed at that time and i'm really sad right now!! *Almost about to cry*
I was hoping the ABS would be available by max 2.15.
And i cant go beyond that now.
My dad would kill me if i put 2.3 for a bike.
                So just the final question.
Can i go for the Non ABS? Because i really really don't have the money and i really really can't wait as my dad won't ever let me buy a bike again. NOT KIDDING.

Do check with other showrooms if you can to get the pricing, but Honda showroom guys are really deaf if we speak or lower price offered else were. But you can try your luck.

With Non-ABS, you just miss the ABS module(along with nissin brake set) and nothing else. If you cant extend your budget, you can very well settle for non_ABS CBR 250R.

OT: I find many people hate/Love a product(good or bad) just because of a brand name which is very bad indeed.

                        Two options. For ABS only.
                        1. Pre-owned route.
                        2. Put 150-160k as down payment. Take loan for the remaining 70-80k for 12 months. Use the remainder to get good riding gear and helmet.

If nothing works and you're adamant on a Honda 250, then non ABS as last resort. But keep the loan amount small. Vehicles are a deprecating asset, a liability.

I've already taken a loan from one relative and other from a friend.
So really can't take another burden of a bank now.

And I think this was a complete bullshit reason as they always try to get money from people who need the vehicle urgently.

The rate change might be in the range of 3k or max 5k not more than that. But you can get a better response from another showroom which can be encouraging.

And as I said before if you cannot extend your budget you can go for non ABS with small loss of breaking performance.

2.29L is on the higher side, even with the highest road tax here in Bangalore it costs 2.25L. And my friend got his CBR 150R recently in Bangalore after 3 months of booking, color also not of his choice. He had booked Green and got Red one.

I think the dealer is correct when he says "we only make bikes as per the demand". As per reports both the baby CBR is least selling motorcycles in India, could be possible that Honda is using CBR factory line to manufacture Navi *just trolling*
