hi all, I was really confused and spoilt of choice, even started doubting myself after buying a touring bike , whether i will tour or not. so started doing short rides like chennai to Jawwadu Hills , Chennai to Tirupati, Chennai to Vallimalai with my unicorn as my bullet std 350 (old model) stays with mechanic.
Then I realised Unicorn is not so underpowered, even giving 47 kmpl and decently doing 90 km/hr and occasionally doing 100 kph. Only thing it lacks is in gear acceleration when compared to ex Pulsar 220. So I thought to buy a bike which can cruise at 100-110, not screaming out its lung at its max.output. But still loved how unicorn pulled decently in the hill sections.
Keeping Bullet is not an choice and planning to sell that. In the mean while I discussed my plight & sought suggestions from Divya Sharan, He patiently answered my queries. Then again started hunting simultaneously reading ownership threads shv18 on his used CBR 250R thread is really an eye opener.
Ok, Ok enough of my blabbering. so atlast I brought my pre owned bike at 11.50 pm yesterday night (25 February 2017).
Photos are attached. Thanks for all for your suggestions & support"If you care enough for a result, you will most certainly attain it."

Congrats!!
What was the odo reading?
Get the exhaust painted. That thing costs upward of ₹5000 if it rusts and falls off.
PS: sorry couldn't help you out more. I had a lot on my plate the last 3 months.Last edited by leech; 02-26-2017, 03:58 PM.

Thanks leech, you have helped me enough. Exhaust shield is also with slight scratches, need to paint both as you suggested. Better to do it in service center or outside?"If you care enough for a result, you will most certainly attain it."

You can try your hand at spray painting the heat shield, bring out the artist in you. The pipe is more difficult, leave that to the pros. Ask around casually what is the rate the SVC charges. Usually, they charge more than the local paint shop.Originally posted by fullmoon View PostThanks leech, you have helped me enough. Hey fullmoon
I Now Pronounce You.......... 'Silver Surfer'
Happy ownership buddy !
Tell us more about the ownership, what were the stats on this beauty ?
I see no side indicators front & back.
No rvms either.
The front tyre looks bald from this angle.
Better add these to your priority list too.
Cheers. You Start Your Life with a Full Pot of Luck and an Empty Pot of Experience, the Object is to Fill the Pot of Experience Before you Empty the Pot of Luck.....!!
