  • CBZ extreme or Suzuki GS150R

I am in a dilemma whether to buy CBZ extreme or Suzuki GS150R.

My main requirement is for casual biking.Need a bike with good pickup, great handling and good suspension.More stress is on suspension since lot of potholes on my Town road..Will do more of pillion riding so pillion comfort is also a consideration.

Also i will be making a transition from non gear scooter to any one of the above bike.So have not ridden any of the bikes.

Please help me out. Will buy the desired bike before 15th Nov.

HH Hunk offers best suspension. It got gas shocks which provides plush ride. GS150R has softer suspension than Xtreme.
HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler
Honda Aviator || Kinetic Flyte || Kinetic Blaze || HH Splendor

Test ride the machines, both are good bikes....personally I feel Xtreme edges out GSR (considering big picture like reliability, after-sales support, build quality etc etc )

Intially i was +ve abt GSR.It has got some good points like 6 speed gear box, good console and big tank. But the main problem is the Service center which is far off from my place. So the Extreme came in the picture.

So any one can enlighten some +ve and -ve in both the bikes.

For rough roads, CBZ-X is better than the GS. If you plan to do touring and are looking for pillion comfort, then GS is better.

So it seems the CBZ is not good for pillion comfort.

not necessarily, but the GS is more refined and has a better feel overall. Dude, a test drive is necessary for you to make out the differences.

Ride as a pillion on both xtreme and GS and find out yourself, in terms of height GS pillion seat is 3 to 4 inches higher and not good for old folks, but can't say about suspension, you need to feel both bikes and then judge...

Hunk is the best handler in its class....and cbz is a good bike...
                      test ride both and decide..

Learned to ride a bike today on a Pulsar 180.Will definitely go for a test drive on both of them. What do you all mean by a smooth ride on GSR.Can some one please explain.

The rusting issues on the GSR have made doubts creep in my mind. Can anyone give me some info on this issue.

^^ I hope you are not going away from Hunk because of the name. It looks really good; of course, looks are subjective. Try the new Hunk, with bull insignaia on the shoulder cowls and black fork shafts, it really looks cool. Hunk is a great allrounder. Think twice.

My vote goes for X-Treme... I don't think there is any problem with Pillion comfort with Cbz... Its a very good bike
