    1. Good bike for smooth riding experience.
    2. Seat is comfortable for both rider & pillion. Pillion comfort is much better than unicorn as the seat is more wider.
    3. Good ride comfort as the shock absorbers are good over pot holes
    4. Brakes are good once u get the feel of using them.

    GS -ves
    1. Mileage issues. I have mileage from the day of purchase. I have never got the same mileage twice. Complaints & visits to SC has been of NO USE.
    2. Gear shifts are clunky. There is so much noise when u shift gears (both up & down shift). same here ... Complaints & visits to SC has been of NO USE.
    3. Poor Head lights. Little bit of focussing adjustments would make it better than factory setting but still head lights suck.
    4. Much famous rusting issues.

The above mentioned positives & neagtives are things which i'm facing first hand being a GS owner. I feel that my bike has some inherent manufacturing defects. My observation is that 1 outta every 3 GS owners complain of mileage/rusting/gearbox issues which is like 30 bikes outta 100 are with defects. I'm sure this would not be the case with CBZ or Hunk. In this account CBZ/Hunk are better bikes than the GS. Some Ppl would claim otherwise but end of the day GS is an ok bike with niggles.

I bought my GS with lot of expectations which later turned out to be a big disappoinment. My present state, I regret buying it every time I crank the motor, this is very upsetting for bike lovers like us. U never know if your GS is good or bad unless u ride it around for 300kms or so. If you willing to take the risk go ahead and buy. I'll repeat "GS is not a great bike yet, but an OK bike with NIGGLES". I hope my experiences are of use to you.
Hahahaha. Just as i was moving towards GS now comes the -ve of Gs.So now back to square one.Hunk or GS.

pulsar 180 is a really good deal but pillion comfort is not that great....I'd go with the CBZ-X any day...it is a much better all rounder bike than the GS IMO

I asked the HH showroom guy the other day for the mileage of Hunk and he told me it is 40-45.

This sales guy don't even know the mileage of the bikes they sell.Their is no recommendation of GS 150 from anyside. Is the rust issue still their in the latest lot.Got some good reviews of the Pulsar 180 too, leaving the pillion comfort aside.
Now the choice is between GS vs P180 vs Hunk.
                Confusion.

considering your transistion from a non-geared scooter,a 150cc makes more sense.I'll still stick to cbz/hunk...that said,P180 is a really good buy.Have a TD and check whether it suits you...upto you.

Well, I recommend GS fully. The rust issue is well taken by the company and the parts are replaced in warranty. Rest, the mileage is always above 50, hovering around 55. Pillion comfort is great, so is the rider comfort. Huge tank gives good coverage as well as nice place to keep tankbags/kids (didn't try the second part yet). Masculine looks, and most importantly it feels the bike has a soul. I can connect to the bike emotionally, and not just as a tool to get from one point to another.

Hunk's plastic muscles fail to impress me, as the pheasibility of tankbag is in question. Similarly, CBZX's bindiya and goitre is hard to forget, atleast for me.

About P180, personally after using bajaj caliber 115 for 6 years (a fine machine btw) I was keen not to buy Bajaj bike. Now make your choice!

Sorry yaar, I now stay in Pune, not Thane Gear shifting is good, the difficulty in shifting with heel shift is hardly for a day or two. I never use the toe shifter, as I care for my shoes! Using heel shifter even in traffic is not problematic at all.

One thing after riding GS is, many other bikes will look like toy to you! I was riding a friend's discover, and was thinking how come a motorcycle is so tiny GS's size really grows on you, and makes its presence felt anywhere.

If you go to office by bike, you will perceive this as a boon to your formal shoes!

In Expo, hardly any bikes are launched then and there. Usually there are all promises that keep you waiting for 6 or more months
