Lots of spelling mistakes here and there, seems proofing is still not efficient.

I haven't received my April-May Issue yet, but I got a mail yesterday that my June-July copy is dispatched. I have mailed Jitender regarding the same, but no reply. He might be busy, so I'm posting here so that anyone from the mag team might look into the issue.

Errr Did you mention me?? Then it's Sri HarshaOriginally posted by sunilg View PostShrikant: If you have received the email yesterday about the dispatch, kindly wait for 1-2 days for the magazine to be delivered.
Btw I was talking about April-May issue, not the June-July which is dispatched, or are you saying both are dispatched? Didn't get you. But I'll wait for the current delivery and get back again.sigpic

Got my issue today. Was glued to the dvd untill I realised it was time to get ready for work. Wonderful videos. Felt like I was moving around the country with the team. Reached Kanyakumari though.
I second The Monk. Since this issue is a GIR special issue, inclusion of all the bikes used in the ride would have been quite fruitful. Specially when 3 of the GIR bikes ( CBR 250, N250, Duke) are amongst the hot cakes selling in the country today.Originally posted by The Monk View PostSome feedback from me.
One, since the biggest USP of xbhp is being different. Here is something that you can publish which will satisfy the needs of the bikers and yet be different. We can publish Ownership Experiences of various Indian (or even imported) bikes. Instead of just having a bike review for a couple of 100 kms when its new, we can let real bikers from the real world, give their ownership reviews. There are many guys who have clocked 40k odd kms on their bikes. These guys can give a comprehensive review of how good the bike is, what expenditures incurred, negatives, positives etc. I think no other Indian magazine is capable of publishing something like this. I think it will be very helpful to many a new biker who comes across the magazine on some roadside stand.
Cheers!Siddhartha

I have the same feedback as your friends you gave to read. Even bike india seems to be doing the same. I understand that the indian biking scene is not as hot and happening as the world but still covering pages and pages of bikes i will never ride just seems pointless. Aspirations aside you could do something different with the bikes available in india as in normal bikes not hayabusa lol
As for both long term reviews this is already being offered both by overdrive and autocar not sure about bike india. Maybe the only difference is, we can give a layman review and not a journalistic review. These autocar and overdrive reviews never say anything bad about their long termers which kind of leaves me in disbelief since I owned a couple of models "long term" reviewed by them. I guess they just keep the bike in showcase and review when asked for.Originally posted by Sid85 View Post

Thats exactly what I meant. These auto magazines and the auto shows never discuss about the negatives of the bike. Xbhp being a biking community can focus on both positives and negatives. I agree long term review is available in the forum but a comparison for such endurance ride would have placed things in better order.Originally posted by yellowspunk View PostI have the same feedback as your friends you gave to read.
