        Yeh.. good to see the I-day ride again this year. Where is Horseley hills?? TN??
        @ Remo, really good designs in a very short time, the first one is really good, simple and to the point.
        Hope everyone doesn't mind if I submit some designs too.

                  @Remo-loved the helmet design and agree with Nikhil on the T-shirt with the helmet one on the front and the 1st design on the back with a black T-shirt...

                  Avin has a valid point about the distance..so we can have small outing on the ID day, to a nearby locale(within 100kms single-way from Bangalore)

                      Count me in...

                      Hi I am a newbie here, not just to XBHP, but also to biking. But I would like to join this ride. As of now, I confirm my coming, that is if I am allowed to ride. I hope there are no restrictions based on driving experiences. I drive everyday for around 20kms up and down, and that is the best time of an otherwise killing-IT-job-day.

                      Please count me in... and is the route and other things finalised?

                              I had a couple of quick questions:

                              1. what is the point of the Tee, if u r wearing a jacket over it?
                              2. How different will the Independence Ride be compared to other "long" rides if we just ride out like we do anyways?

                              The point I am trying to make is that riding in the city and displaying the flags/T-shirts to so many people around could perhaps add and inspire a sense of patriotism to those viewing us as a group. It will also give an opportunity to be a part of some social cause and contribute our bit to the society.

                              Besides, the ride in the city will be quite early on Sunday morning and we'll be done in a few hours. That will give enough time to for the longer leg of the ride for those who are interested in that too.
