    Guys how about thekady its somewhere in the middle , we can say its equal distance from cochin and tvm ... and it seems to be more of mountain passes( atleat from google maps ) anyone tried this trip , i'll try to upload a pic ...

            Just as I expected... lots of date clashes... But, anyway, lets list down dates and places. Request everyone to copy the list fwd and add your preferences. We can take the call in couple of days....

              its around 230 km for TVM guys! amd 180 for us..(one way!)
              A good mechanic will let u watch without charging u for it!

                    Hee Hee... 230kms ain't a big deal for one day... I know a nut who zoom to Sivakashi in the early morning and reach back in the afternoon...

                      hmmm . maybe your rite . I was trying to omit the usual destinations ... google maps says that we can reach there in 2hrs 45 mins , guess in real world that equals 3 to 3.5 hrs ...
                      might have to find some place closer .. if we want to get enough time to have discussions and G2G and E2G ....
                      This would work a lot faster if Praveen chettan were here ....

                        I dont think maintaining 100 kmph is possible on our hill stations....

                        Doing it on a flat stretch is an easy task...

                          Eat like the Cochin guys?! Tvm guys ain't far behind in it... U shd ask the Ponmudi KTDC restaurant guys abt it...

                          So true, maintaining 100kmph is difficult on our hill stations because KSRTC buses are driven faster...

                          Some place in-between Tvm and Cochin is the best. Alappuzha beach? Or maybe a houseboat trip depending on the number of participants?!

                            Ditto! We shouldn't rush the SI G2G... it might turn out to be with less participation... We need to plan it really well...

                            From where did the south india g2g come up !! From various experiences i heard after yercaud, ther were so many guys and everybody couldnt even talk to each other , I prefer this this to be not one like that. If it is just the kerala g2g, we can get acquianted with each other well and what comes to my mind first is an overnight camping with a campfire, etc or any other games (neil cummon suggest more) at munnar hill top on the previous weekend of xmas ,which can be made pretty interesting if we can combine it with some exotic places which our own praveen can lead us to. last time, it was raining so heavily that evebody couldnt enjoy it very much, which can be made up this time guys.

                            Like remy said, we students dont have much freedom from home and my parents will faint if i say i m going to wayanad in bike and i believe i can convince them more with this munnar plan. i think many will be more convenient with this than the wayanad and slowly we can make it bigger to SI g2g at ooty or anywher next year..
