      sorry confused.

and who are these anya guys? are they from team yamaha?
      Yes, Sameer = Killer
Anya Racing is a team run my Pacer Yamaha which is a privately owned race team. Its for now like a Yamaha team untill Yamaha directly decides to come down. So they are paid team riders. The top riders like sriskandarajah and vishwa are riders since over a decade now and experts to the core.

      • my bad.
are those guys really that good that u and killer have to try so hard?
i was expecting it to be both bangalore finishes on the podium.

i know next time u both will make their life harder.

        • They are experts man. Bloody fast too. Killer could match them, but then their bikes were not stock in any sense. Like I said earlier, there is no one to ask anything. Although there are 100s of onlookers/organisors, none would say a word. The fact is that none of these Yamaha officials know what are racing rules and how they are conducted. No point in talking about all this anyways.

So why not u guys get similar mods done on ur bikes and give them a taste of their own medicine?

            • Was a tough race for me, the yamaha team bikes (Anya Racing) were too fast and i had to stay in their slip stream to keep up with them. Once in their slip stream i could make out i had an edge in the corners but on the straights their bikes just ran away. I managed to beat Sudhakhar, one of the 3 Anya racers and though i made a couple of passes on Sri and Vishwa they would comfortably pass me on the back straight. The race ended very close with Sriskadarajah the winner, Vishwanath 2nd and myself 3rd all within touching distance of each other.

Because the only people who can do those mods are the yamaha team themselves. Cant give them a taste of their own medicine when only THEY have the medicine

Oh.....ok. I get that. Those guys are having all the benefit of Yamha giving them factory-mods... That's bad!

                      • Let me give you a brief idea about what goes into a factory team race bike. First off is the selection process and the best of the best R15's are selected. No two bikes make the same power and In this case the top anya race bikes were picked out after testing more than 40 r15's. Then these 'best of best' r15's undergo further peformance tuning which includes ECU work. In the end these race bikes are much faster than any other stock R15's. Now throw a couple of 50kg multi-time national champions on those bikes and you have your winning package.

                          • Any idea what figures these bikes develop over our stock R15s? And are these bikes running only modded ECUs or any other works on the engine, exhaust etc?

                            • Nope no idea of actual figures or what exactly is done to the bikes, thats not something you'd expect a competitor to share either.

                              • AS per group D rules, u can only work on fueling, weight reductions, switch to indian tyres, ignition, handle bar. Exhaust and stuff has to obviously remain stock.
