Had a fantastic time as santhosh(nfsnfs) pointed out we had some quality crowd
Sunil Sir: I was grinning ear-to-ear the entire route, those country side roads were a delight to ride and those twisties were absolutely brilliant
It was great to meet some many familar faces
Special thanks to Santa and others for their assistance in taking the R1 to the river bed
PS: This route needs to be done again, loved those twisties and the countryside roads
Hammer the racetrack. Pace yourself on the street.

A very happy introduction into my sister's family meant that I missed my first I-Day ride in 4 years. I was up till 4.30 am in the run up to the ride and decided not to risk it by riding without any sleep.
Looks like I missed a great ride, and thanks to hisunil for keeping our traditions alive. Great to see the old dogs of the group riding as well

I have no clue about the turnout or the destination plans as it is a closed group.Originally posted by Anoop Desai View PostIMHO No. The ride you are talking about was a long one. And you very well know "Longer the ride, lesser the participation".
Less participation is mainly due to a long weekend. Of course there are other reasons too. But i dont think any other group's ride will affect xBhp rides!
Good to know that!Originally posted by nfsnfs View Post@tibby , We had quality ppl riding with us instead of quantity ppl

Good to see you guys had some awesome fun, and that we associated a noble cause to the event.
I'm coming soon. If your bike can do it, small bro can.Originally posted by strider View PostThis route needs to be done again, loved those twisties and the countryside roads

Congratulations on becoming mama!!Originally posted by rossiter View PostA very happy introduction into my sister's family meant that I missed my first I-Day ride in 4 years. I was up till 4.30 am in the run up to the ride and decided not to risk it by riding without any sleep.
I hadn't slept in the run to the 2009 i-day ride, and ended up almost dozing on the corners in Kanakpura on our way back. Hence, good decision.
One 'not so old DOG' also missed the I-day ride.Originally posted by rossiter View PostGreat to see the old dogs of the group riding as well

This is one ride I look forward to. Will be there exactly a year from now.

Not being around in the country did not dampen my patriotism. I went for an I-day drive to the Indian Embassy, in a Land Cruiser Prado (no bikes here).
Have a photo to share.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Fantastic pictures! Looks like you guys had a great time. It was heartening to see so many familiar faces make it for the ride. Couldnt make it this year either as I was working, one of the downsides of working in the IT industry. I seem to be jinxed when it comes to ID rides. Hopefully next year my luck changes.
And yes the count could've been higher if our friends from BB would've joined hands with the xbhp ride like they usually do. Unfortunate to see forum-ism (is that even a word?) rearing its head in such a tightly knit and small community.
Looking forward to a writeup on the ride.
P.S - Who stole Vidya's hair ???
