Had plan to ride little longer distance so had to miss the I-day ride with you guys.

Go Easy my friends. Everyone has their own right to move their own way. Doesn't matter who went where. End of the Day we love our country and we celebrate I-day from various way from various destination.

I always respect the way Sunil organizes every year.

    Jai Hind!

@ Tibby, closed group is always open for anyone to get in only if anyone wants to get in

This is how few of us here celebrated I-Day 2011

@john: You sure have your freedom to ride where you want, & with whom you want.
I was just mentioning why I thought the turnout was low compared to yesteryears. Nothing personal here mate.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Thats coz we're not famous yet!! Lets get famous like Ewan or Charlie, & we can get paid for a LWR/LWD type thingy. B'lore roads are good (read bad) enough for that epic trip.

Lovely pictures all, the sand biking looks tempting

I think things are being taken in a very negative light here, there is no such thing as "forum-ims" happening here. The reasons for the low turn out can be many, people ride where and how they want to ride.

I don't see any problem between the different forums, being an active member in both I can see that. Its only a select few (not referring to you!) who somehow don't seem comfortable with idea of having 'local biking groups'.

Anyways, To Each His Own!... I just say keep the forums out of Biking

Praful, the reason why I posted that is evident from the Independence Day Ride thread on BB, well it was kinda overshadowed by the raging flag controversy but it is there

Im saying the same thing you are - Keep the forums out of biking. That doesnt happen when the majority of people who plan a ride plan say that it should be a forum only ride. Hence the appearance of the word forum-ism in my post.

And yes, people are free to ride where and when they want, this is a free country after all. Though recent political events might tend to show otherwise!

Adding to what Avin said - A good interesting ride happening regardless of which forum, i'm going. Provided I wake up on time
