That's me! Parked it in adjacent to your usual parking spot! IRC tyres are awesome! May be because of my preset mind, I am extremely confident now in corners!

                • Hi

                  @lijo

Are there any chance of getting stickers from xBhp when we go for the ride. My bro used my bike for two months and fell twice. The sticker on the front is now missing the 'P' and scratches here are there.

Also, a new rider from TVM working with me in Infy will be accompanying me for the ride.
                  ramu086 is his xBhp id!

                  @ ALL

Wish all of you came for the trip! It would have been the blast of the century!
                  Yours truly, HONDA ;)

                    • guys i need some opinions on this. i am planning to buy a dsg nero jacket. my primary concern is protection. i am also thinking on the lines of buying the cramster torso armour and an ordinary leather jacket to wear over it. the torso armour provides solid back and chest protection(not possible with textile jacket) and the leather jacket will give better abrasion resistance than textile ones. what do you guys say.i have very limited financial resources so a false decision will be a blow.
also, are good leather jackets available in tvm.?

Textile Jackets like the DSG Nero anytime... Why I will always would be with this opinion is because, if you are getting it for protection, you need to use it always. READ always as ALWAYS! An Armour for such a case would be little hard! From the experience I have, ( cause I always wear it here in Mysore and wore it always when in Trivandrum ) I'd disagree on a leather jacket or Armour however cheap you get it (if getting free of cost --> GET IT ^-^) Also, tex jackets have enough protection to prevent the most irritating road rashes and most injuries! If even more particular, get all the padding from leading brands like AlpineStars since these are replaceable!

else the DSG ones the best. Shell in a little more and get the best DSG model! Also, main point! GO and TRY THEM OUT!

Not sure of any dealer in TVM or Cochin! Bangalore anytime!
Hope I have answered your question!

                        Ride safe!

Ahkil, given your studently finances (no offence meant), I'd advice you to go for a textile jacket with CE armor like the DSG Nero etc... those are good enough. There are many who can vouch for that.
Now, coming to the option you said - I also have that in mind for quite some time. I was planning on getting the A* projection jacket (which has shoulder, elbow, spine and chest proctectors), and a standard leather jacket. But the total cost will come to something like 20k+; which I cannot shell out anytime soon.
Again, my advice, get the DSG Nero or something similar for around 5k now. When we upgrade our rides and have enough money to shell out, we'll go for the better choices...
                          cheers - Lijo

@Srijith - I've added you to the list of riders from TVM. Now the agonizing wait!!!

@Arjun - bro, as you riding with the b'lore team, please inform the b'lore POC about your buddy... Looking forward to meeting you there... About the sticker, yes we have some surplus stickers with us, we can get one or two for you.

@jayamohan chetta - I dont think this is a different sticker. Dont worry, we'll get one for you... small/big- thats all upto you.. And about the tee, I've already updated the tracker. So there will be one waiting for you at Yercaud...

the cramster torso jacket costs 4400. a good leather jacket costs 4500. total 9k. this option is way safer also. right?.
about the video. i thought not to talk about this. but i have to. last week i nearly escaped almost a carbon copy accident like this. the bike shook violently out of control exactly like in the video. had i crashed xbhp would have lost one more member.if i get that merchant navy job i sometimes may quit biking and move on to cars. some incidents leave memories that will not fade.
